Ash's pov:

I groan and smash my clock to pieces...... damn my head....

I lay there, a giant hangover and head ache.

I notice I wasn't alone and the second I turn around I start to panic slightly and slip out of my teacher's arm. what is she doing here?!

I just stand there, staring, what happened?

I remember drinking......... DID WE DO SOMETHING?!?! I hope not, I don't want to be close to her after what she did.

I look down at myself and the panic raises slightly, w-who changed me?!

I slip out of my room silently, not wanting to wake her and having to face her.

I walk down to the living room, empty, I go to the kitchen to try to find something to help with this pounding inside my head, at least I looked around to spot the calendar to know it was the week end, the teachers would have killed me if I went to school like this.

"hello cous'" I turn around, a bottle of water and aspirin in my hand.

"what's up Ash?" it's strange really, the Blackblood family always had a commune nickname because of ash being in everyone's name but I don't think anyone cares.... I also like to call him Ton or Tonton.

"the sky, anyway, you look like shit and weak" he said and I let out a humourless chuckle with a raised eyebrow at the taunt.

"you think you could beat me? boy I may be hungover as fuck but I'm from the main branch of the family while you are the side branch, I will be the alpha not you" I shot back at him and put two aspirins in my mouth before emptying the bottle, he knew I was fucking with him even if it was true so he simply smiled, the side branch of the family where the descendants of my great aunt, they would be betas but no alphas, that was the main branch, descendants of granny so me.

"let's watch something, it may help"

"sure Tonton"

I take a bowl of snacks and drinks while he laid across the couch and I lay over him, my head on his chest and legs intertwined, we always did this since....... diapers, we were like brother and sister, his sister, Asha, was away, travelling, trying to find her mate but normally she would also join us, sitting on the odder end of the couch with her legs on my back.

"what are we watching?" I asked

"Alice in wonderland the live action, it's my favour--" "I know that Tonton, just start the film already" I said and he laughed, doing as I asked of him, I had put the snacks and drinks on the ground where we both you could reach them.

Anna's pov:

I woke up to an empty bed and sit up, it took me a few seconds to remember what happened yesterday.

I noticed a busted clock and the door was open, I got of Ash's bed and went to my own and change to jeans and a yellow T-shirt, it may be the week end but still.

"mom!" I caught Jake as he jumped at me.

"god you scared me there sweet heart" I chuckle, holding him as he laughed.

"come on Jake let's get you dressed"

"no!" he ran away, he only had his blue, star covered, onesie.

I ran after him; damn why did he need to inherit my speed?!

I find him sitting on a couch and watching a movie, as I get closer I notice Ashton there to but what makes me freeze was the fact that Ash is laying across Ashton and cuddling.

"mom come watch the movie with us!" Jake calls and Ash looks up, when our gaze meet, she sits up on Ashton, whispering something to him before getting off him and walking over.

"we need to talk" she harshly whispered as she dragged me in the kitchen by my arm, I gulp slightly.... today is the day I die.

"okay.... what happened last night and who changed me?" she looked really worried making me slightly relieved that she didn't start yelling about what happened yesterday.

"you weren't home so I went searching for you, I found you in a bar, hammered as fuck with a guy trying to touch you" this made her slightly crunch her face and turning so her side faced me as she discreetly tried to cover her front. "it was your butt if that reassures you in anyway, he doesn't know about your hidden treasure"

"how do you know about that?!" she went bring red.

"your mom told me you called it that.... anyway...... I took you home and your mother changed you" she sighed in relief.

"why were you in my bed?"

"you kind of asked me to and your mother...."

"what?"

"knows we are........... mate?"

"yeah.... about that........ fuck off" that took me back, my eyebrows shooting up in surprise.

"you basically told me yesterday you didn't want me when you pushed me away and said it was an accident" she said, looking ready to cry like yesterday and it broke my already ground to dust heart.

"Ash I kn--" "please don't miss. Clairs, I don't want to hear it" she tried walking passed me but It having it, I stretched out my arm in front of her, she could easily walk around it but none of us moved, in complete silence with the noises of the movie barely heard.

"Ash please listen...... yes it was something that happen accidentally, I hadn't planned on kissing you but I don't regret it, never said I did, I was simply shocked and scared, I cared more about my job and what could happen then what my reaction could lead too.... I never meant to hurt you....... I don't care about those things anymore because you are my mate and I want to be with you, care not for the age, gender, condition or preference that you have....... I'm sorry for hurting you and I will stay away from you if that's what you wish but if you could find it in your heart to give me a second chance I promise to never leave you"

she said nothing for a while and we simply stared at each other, she looked so lost.

"sorry" was all she said for a while "I..... I don't trust you.... I rarely do with anyone to be honest with you...... I want to believe you but promises are meant to be broken and it would only hurt"

I was about to let my arm fall when she gently took hold of my hand.

"but.... I want to give you a chance, I'm scared but still........ please....... don't break what trust I still have for you" she muttered.

"I would never dare" this made her smile as she dropped my arm, not rudely but simply letting go of it.

I wanted to hold her but I could afford to even step a hair over the line or I'm done for and surely will be officially rejected by her.

"let's go watch the movie huh?" she asked with a smile, offering her hand to me again.

"lets" I said, smiling back at her and taking her hand as she pulled me back out of the kitchen.

now that I have a chance no way I'm messing up.
