Ash's pov:

my eyebrow was twitching with a scowl on my face, I think mom is going overboard.

I've been training since early in the morning and fight EACH AND EVERYONE of the wolf pack members.

"next!" mom called after I threw a male adult wolf to the ground and granny helped him away.

"ENOUGH!!!" I yelled, I can't take it!!!! I had enough!!!! god dammit!!!

mom, granny and everyone around was clearly affected by the tone I used, frozen like statues.

Daniel's pov: (yeah it's her wolf for those that forgot as he is not really present)

Ash was pissed and I was feeling like my connection with her was weakening, what's going on?!

I felt something brush against my side but saw nothing but a ghostly outline of a wolf, wait....... was he who the moon goddess talked about?

the ghost stopped and turned his head, or I only assume as I could only see the outlines and a bright red eye, he nodded.... he.... he heard my thoughts, he nodded again.

'I will not let you hurt Ash in her own mind' I growled, not trusting this intruder that was blocking me from Ash.

he glared with two red eyes and I couldn't help but submit, his form becoming more defined as I heard Ash yell with her mother with her anger growing.

'it's as much my body as it is yours, you heard what Moon said but she made a mistake' I heard a deep voice all round me, like it wasn't coming from the same place but I knew it was this wolf.

'what are you talking about?!'

'we are two sides of the same coin, while you awoke I slept, while you are more white grey with blue eyes I'm black with red eyes, you are hot-headed while I'm calculating. her father's DNA made us split, making you a new wolf while I kept what we knew from before, you are me and I you' it was mind boggling to hear this, I wanted to laugh in his face but every inch of my being was telling.... no screaming otherwise.

'and why are you around now of all times?'

'certain conditions needed to be met before I could present myself, even if only like this for now until Ash doesn't get used to me like she's with you'

'this is simply fucked up'

'do you want to have a bad time'

'tsk.... no, who knows what would happen to her then'

'good call wolf' his behaviour annoyed me.

'okay listen here doggy, I ware before, we may have been one before but I'm my own wolf now and I'm Ash's wolf, she will chose me over you, you may be the first wolf of the first and only Blackblood but that doesn't give you right to act like you control everything, everyone has rights and you need to get that hammered in your mind forever, Ash is not like her and never will be' he red eyes bore in to me but this sudden surge of confidence kept me from backing down 'you didn't go through what Ash and I did, you weren't with her when her father died, you weren't here on her first shift, you weren't here on her first day of school, you weren't here to keep her safe from abuse from her peers, you weren't here for her happiest and saddest moments, you weren't here to make her feel safe, you weren't here when we met our mate, you never were here for her so don't think you can just waltz in and take over because you'll never be what I am to her and she will never be what she is to me........ you have no authority here and never will have so you either learn to be less of an ass or I'll show you who's the real wolf of Ash Blackblood, the next alpha in line'

he didn't look impressed but said nothing as we sat in silence, watching Ash argue in silence, the ghostly alpha and the real alpha just watching in silence.

Ash's pov:

I couldn't stop yelling, I had blown all my fuses and mom was yelling back, trying to explain why this was happening but it didn't help.

I felt an arm take my wrist and drag me away, I didn't resit like I would have wanted, something telling me to let it happen but I still glared at my mother even when we were inside the house and not even able to see each other, I was sat on the couch before I was hugged, I slowly but surely calmed down at the alluring smell and a hand rubbing up and down my back.

"it's okay, calm down love" I buried my face in her chest and hugged her back tightly.

"I can't take it Anna.... I just can't, this is all too much for me.... I'm scared about the chance of war, I'm scared of losing someone, I'm scared of not being ready, I'm scared of disappointing people, I'm scared of not being enough, I'm scared of messing everything up.... I'm scared" I felt her kiss my temple and lay her head against me as she rocked me slightly, trying to calm me.

"everything will be alright love, everything will be alright" she whispered, my eyes slowly dropping, training like that and all the stress was tiring.

Anna's pov:

I brushed a strand of hair out of Ash's face as she fell asleep against me, her head resting against my chest as she lightly snored, I was still hugging her and didn't want to let go any time soon, playing with her hair gently to not wake her.

I know Ashlin acted like this out of fear for Ash but she was going overboard, Ash was visibly over stressed with all this responsibility and training thrown at her, it hurt to see her like this instead of the calm collected self.

after a while I gently picked her up in princess carry, she nuzzled my neck in her sleep and moved a bit, pressing herself against me, I gently kissed her cheek with a small smile.

I walked up to her room and quietly closed the door behind me, I laid her on her bed before kicking of my shoes and socks before I laid next to her, holding her in my arms.

Ash turned to her side and snuggled closer for warmth while laying her head on my chest with her arms between both of us loosely holding my clothing, I held her in my arms as I kissed her forehead making her smile a little in her sleep as I held her against me.

I'll do what I can to help you Ash, I always will be there for you, I love more than anything I ever will.... well Jake is on the same level as you but still, I'll love you until my death and beyond, there is no limit and there never will be any.... Ash, my love for you is eternal.
