.Mate Problems.

Ash's pov:

"Ash could you come here please?!" I heard my Ally yell from the top of the stairs. I had started using the training room Ashton and I used, everything was covered in dust but after a fast scrub it was like new, I felt lonely without anyone here with me, as I told you a long time ago, I don't care if Asha hit me, I would have done the same in her boots.... well only if I was her but I'm not.

"yeah what?" I yelled, I was only in sport shoes, booty shorts and a sports bra, all black.

"we have a little problem and your mom asks for you"

I jogged up the stairs and followed her outside to a place crowded with people mumbling.

Ally pushed through the crowd and I gulped a little, my mom was talking to a few deltas and her beta...... she could take the place of Satan as she has him at her feet since years.... my pack is really strange.... we literally have the devil as our beta! but only mom and my family knows he's the devil so yeah.... we don't want panic do we?

"why did you call me?" I asked making her me.

"ah Ash!" mom pulled me away from the group.

"so what's up?" I asked

"that is up" she said and I raised an eyebrow looking up and covering my mouth, a pack member was hanging of the branches of a tree by their intestines and look messed up, like he was alive even after this happened.

"I fear what you and the moon goddess told us is true, peace is really at stake here and I also fear that there is someone out there building an army of people to put an end to our rule of the land" she said.

"and why did you call me? she sighed.

"I..... talked to the judge of your trail"

"talked?" I didn't believe her.

"fine, I asked Satan to convince him"

"about what?" I face palmed, of course my mother would do such things.

"I'll get the alpha title at the next fool moon on your 19th birthday instead of your 20th" she said and I let my hand fall from my face, wide eyed.

"what?!"

"you are much more powerful than me and it's your rightful title"

"but why?"

"if there is a war, the pack needs young and powerful alpha to lead them, I may keep peace but I'm not cut out for war but I think you would do a good leader as even the moon seem to think you were born in this fate"

"but I'm not ready"

"that's why I'll help and train you with your grandma"

"why doesn't she lead the pack, why me?"

"one of the reasons is because a wolf is much stronger when they have a mate and neither does granny or I have our mates while you do, you have a dormant beast inside you, you could convince everyone and anyone to join our cause to protect to land, you were born to lead and if the moon is right, you'd be the rightful queen and not granny"

this was overwhelming to say the least.

"bring Asha back"

"Ash you know I--" "bring her back, Ashton and her were always destined to be my betas no matter what happened, stop holding that grudge mom, I'm fine and I don't care how she acted, have I ever cared about stuff like this? would I have let her hit me if I cared?" she sighed.

"yo S'tan!" she yelled not saying the 'a' of Satan so people didn't get ideas, the devil came running over.

"yes?" he asked fixing his suit, that's all he had in his closet I swear.

"get Asha from the mines" I face palmed again, I was at the mines once when I made the huge mistake of saying 'fuck you' to my mother and I tell you, I couldn't sit for a week from the beating I got, at least Asha only got the mining treatment and not the ass whopping, it happened years and years ago go but I remember the pain well.

even if Asha was back I barely saw her.... it's not like I saw anyone else either as I was constantly taught and trained by my mother and granny to be ready for the full moon, there was going to be a big ceremony when I took over and then a party for taking the title and my birthday, I was happy and yet dreading the end of the month.

I would be the alpha in a few weeks and Anna would be the Luna at my side, I was scared of what would happen in the predicted war as two other bodies showed up, one worse than the other, I wanted no one of the people I cared for to get hurt, I wanted none of them to be killed...... I scared....... what if I'm not a good leader? what if they hate this choice of giving me the title? what if someone wants to fight me for the title? what if I lead everyone to their death?.......... what if I cause our downfall?

oh Moon please watch over us and protect us.

(this song I randomly picked out actually fits in this story better then I realised it at first......... but that's not what I want to say, I want to thank everyone that read this book, they may not even know this is a sequel but that doesn't matter.... this is the first book I ever did more then 23 chapters to and this is the 30th but people are still interested in the lives of my few select characters and the lore that I built around to world I created in the first book and this sequel.... I'm really happy you guys like it..... fun fact, after the first 3 chapters of the first book I got bored of it and planed to forget about it but so meany people liked it I couldn't bring myself to not do anything with it so I wrote and wrote and now we are here so I'll never say this enough but thank you, even to the reader that read a single chapter and never came back to it, it still give me the push needed to continue writing........... this sounds cheesy huh? I had no other way of saying it so yeah, I don't know if we are even nearing the end of this book but I look forwards to finishing it for all you beautiful people that even took a minute of their time for this book. -best regards Crystal)
