Ash's pov:

I sighed and rubbed my face.

"it doesn't add up!" I groaned, you see.... the plan we had prepared with Jammy got thrown out the window as the rogues didn't follow the cycle we thought they would and now I had no idea what to do.

I had granny and mom train the pack more and put up more sentinels on the edges of our land, Asha did the administration that was needed for such a big operation while I was the brains behind it, Ally and Jammy helped too which really helped to speed things up to get ready and maybe even catch one of the rogues that keeps murdering people.

we had warned the town so they were ready to evacuate if there was ever a war close by.

I heard a knock on my door and looked up.

"it's open" Jake opened the door and ran in, I pushed myself away from the table and caught him.

"hello buddy" I say with a chuckle.

"hi mama" I guess I was starting to get used to him calling me that but it's still a bit strange, it's understandable I guess.

"I swear it's like we are already married" I chuckled, looking at Anna after she talked, you could tell she was pregnant as it was harder to not see twins as they took more place then a single baby and the fact that it was nearing the end of the fourth month.... the principle decided to give her paid leave because he didn't want her to over stress herself but to be honest no student ever thought of giving her a bad time because she's nice but he wasn't listening to her protests so now we had a replacement teacher but she insisted on him to use her notes so we did as she wanted.... she would write the notes and send them to him by E-mail, she was that hell bent on doing what she still could to teach us even if she wasn't the one doing that...... I hope to find a job I enjoy doing as much as she does teaching, I don't want to sit around in this office all day while I'm alpha and be jobless.

"well it isn't bad is it?" I asked as she handed me a cup of coffee latte with a tower of whipped cream.... perfect.

"it isn't, just decided to point it out" I raised my eyebrow as her tone was slightly annoyed.

"are you okay?"

"yeah, I sure am"

"Anna"

"it's around the fifth month that the babies start kicking and well I kind of have two in me" she huffed as she sat down on the couch in the room with her own drink, simply water, the couch was pushed up to the wall behind me so I spun around in my chair with Jake still sitting on my knees but playing with the games on my phone and in his own little world.

"yes?"

"well I don't like being kicked, not from the outside or inside"

"oh...... of course, sorry I didn't notice sooner"

"it's alright, you are worried enough as it is and it's nothing much"

"....... are you still sure we don't want to know the gender of the babies?"

"Ash" she said in a warning yet joking tone "you agreed to wait it out"

"I know but I can't help it!" I whined like a little kid making her laugh.

"oh Ash.... you may not get to know the gender and neither do I but we can think of names"

"talking about names...." I trailed off.

"you have a few ?"

"this is lot more than a few" I said, pulling out a paper I kept with me.

"well I only came up with Flash and Dash, both have ash in them as we decided"

"alright" I cleared my through and read what I had on the paper out loud "so I have Ashwan, Ash-lee, Ashaya, Ashland, Ashburn, Ashlaya, Ashford, Ashia means life and hope Ashni means lightening for girls, Ashlyn with an 'y' and not an 'i' like mother, Ashten, Ashe, Ashlan, ashlynn, Ashira, Ashanna, Ashmier, Ashleigh, Asheni, Ashden and Ashlan" I said that all in one breath.

(only one of these name was mentioned twice so I will select it in case I go for that gender)

"wow.... you sure had time on your hands" Anna said.

"yeah...."

"well we have time to think over them but I liked the name Ashira a lot in case they are girls.... I can't decide on the others"

"so Ashira is already decided in case we have girls.... now we need to find the other girl name and the boys too.... I like Dash too for the boys or Ashlan"

"true but let's think about this later okay? we already decided on Ashi for one of the girl names, let's not rush the choices okay?"

"yeah fine but it's easy for you to say as you already have a son and you know to do and don't do" I pointed at Jake who was laying against me, still on my phone and not looking soon to done with his game.

"you know having a child doesn't make it easier"

"sorry"

(okay this is a shorter again and you must have noticed I'm doing shorter chapters with bigger time skips between each one but I need to get to a certain time to do all that I have planed, if you haven't please comment or msg me 1 or 2 as it will be really important, I already have one 1 in my msgs and one 2 in the comments............ now that that's out of the way I wanna thank everyone for 10804 reads, 852 favourites, it makes me really happy to know you guys like what I write in these books of mine..... well there will be another skip of one or two months, skipping over Christmas.... sorry in advance.... and to a time when the snow starts to melt and the nicer and warmer times are coming back)
