Ashton's pov:

"Ash! Asha! Ally!" I yelled but my voice echoed through to empty castle walls.

I had found myself alone after we closed the door, escaping from those.... things.

I had picked up a broom that was laying on the floor, better weapon then nothing in this hell hole, we should have listened to Ash, this place is so creepy.

I heard stomping approaching me from behind fast but when I turned around, swinging the broom, there was no one.

I shiver went down my back, this place is really haunted.

I needed to find someone!

I ran down the eerily silent corridor before stopping, it was the third time I saw the same painting.... am I stuck in a loop?

I heard stomping behind me and I swung the broom but nothing was behind me.... I'm definitely in a loop like in the science fiction films.

I looked at my phone, 9:03, I need to find the others soon.... but how.

I didn't run, something was telling me to open the door next to me, if I was in a loop then and saw this painting a number of time.... and yet never opened the door, it would break the loop!

I tried to open the door but it didn't move.

I heard stomping and this time it was like a shadowy figure was running at me with a broom before running through me and continuing of its way.......... wait a second, a broom?

I realised that it was 'me', the stomping noise I heard were my own, so that means.... as long as I move, I create the loop.... do I need to wait for the shadow to catch up with my timeline so the loop while stop? better theory then anything.

I sat on the floor and watched that shadow 'me' do exactly as I did over and over again, how many time had I already done this loop before figuring it out? what is even going on?!

Asha's pov:

I was alone, but how?! we entered this castle at the same time!

I had a small candle holder in my hands with a lit candle to guide me through the endless shelves around me, they reached towards the darkness above me and disappeared in it, books everywhere.

it was like a maze, dead ends and turns, I was walking but it didn't feel like I was getting somewhere, only an endless maze of shelves and books.

I arrived at a bigger opening with a grandfather clock, a pen, a table and a single around it with books open on it and the sentence 'the first last words may be deemed important but the first ones are too' carved on it but I wasn't happy, every time, no matter which way I went, I always ended up here.
