Ash's pov:

"CALM THE DUCK DOWN ASH!!!!" Ally yelled, she never cursed and it seem like she never will. I was rambling on and on after having woken up at home.

"it's not you that lost your memories and acted like a lost pup all day for a month!" I shook her by her shoulders before running away, constantly yelling 'I remembered!'

I ran outside and didn't care about people calling after me, I jumped and fell on all four, running in the forest, not caring I fucked up my clothes by shifting, it's been a long time I did anyway, months before this happened (the pic is the cover of the book and the pic at the start of the chapter if it saved)

I stopped running blindly and looked around, I was deep in our land were no house were still made, I shook out my grey fur, Dan purred in my mind, he must be in the 9th heaven to finally be a wolf and a big one at that, alpha's are always big but I think I'm bigger then mom.... and have something dormant in me like Moon told me...... I don't like this destiny; can I get a refund? no? well shit....

I ran around for a while, enjoying the wind blowing through my fur, I felt free of everything.

after a good hour doing just that, I started to trot back towards the pack houses, I loved this pack, anyone could join if they wished so a lot of people from town and elsewhere were in it, from humans to wolves to some rarer races like succubus, mages and demons to only quote a few.... and one of those demon was literally the devil himself, that's why I warn people about angering my mother, because she has him under her rule.

I sighed in my mind, talking about the devil, I learned where Asha was sent from Ally, yes we may have been at each other's necks and yes she may have caused my loss of memories but I still care for her and Ashton like siblings... Ashton, man.... please wake up soon, I feel so guilty about this.

I looked around and smiled wolfish at who I saw, walking over.

Anna's pov: (long time not seen huh?)

I was walking around the forest, worried when Ash was brought home knocked out so I decided to come out here to take my mind of it.

Jake really missed Ash, he had grown to love her which was not a bad thing as we were mates........ but she doesn't remember me.... my heart broke each time I thought back to that, my love doesn't remember me and maybe she never will.

I sighed and wiped away a few stray tears, I couldn't afford to cry, I need to be strong for everyone.

I heard a few branches snapping and turned my head to the left fast to see a huge wolf standing there, werewolves were usually slightly bigger than normal wolves but as you climbed in the grads, the size of the wolf grew.... but this one was huge! on all four the wolf's head was at the same height as mine!!!!

we stared at each other for a while after it plopped down on its butt in front of me while I was trying to figure out who it was, I rarely seen wolves of this pack shift for a long time and up this close so I was at a lost.

it tilted its head to the side and stuck out it's tongue, it made me laugh so hard I held on the wolf to stay standing.

it circled me, rubbing against my sides when it ticked for me, this sparks I'm feeling, only one person....

"ASH!" I think my voice broke at my loud exclamation in surprise.

I feel a push on my mind and can tell it's a mind link, usually wolves can simply connect their minds like that but as I'm only half wolf and don't have an inner wolf, it's like I sort of need to open a door to let them in.

'hello their mate' yep it's Ash for sure.

"oh my goddess" I hug her neck as she lays her large head on my shoulder, her fur tickling my neck a little.

'don't cry' she whined a little with her ears pressed against her head, licking my face and it made my giggle as it tickled, I didn't notice I was crying.

"I-I'm just so happy" true, I was really happy she was back, back to Ashlin, back to Jake.... back to me.

'I'm sorry for leaving like that' she said with a sad look, I grabbed her cheeks and gave the fur a rough but not painful rub, she stuck out her tongue again as I kissed the tip of her nose.

"at least you are back" I said, smiling as I put my forehead against hers, those blue eyes fixated on my own green ones.

she licked my cheek, rubbing her head against me again, I could tell she missed me too.

'where were you going?' she asked while walking next to me, her side sometime brushing against my arm, it made me smile stupidly, come on Anna you are supposed to be an adult, in her really early 20s but still, you are acting like a someone from Ash's grade!

"home, I just came out to walk a little"

'it's quite far from the pack house.... get on' she crouched before me.

"huh?" I wasn't sure what to do.

'you can't shift right?' I nodded.

"yeah if someone is half hunter they lose most of what creature their other parent was, if a vampire then the child will not need blood nor have red eyes for example" I say.

'well get on, I'll show you how it can feel to run around on all fours' she insisted.

"I don't know"

'you will not be heavy nor fall if that's what you are scared about, come on' I sighed.

"fine" she did a wolfish chuckle and waited for me to get on, I hesitated.... I rely don't want to fall, could break something...... but I trust her with all my heart.... I passed my leg over her and she stood up, trapping me on her back without a way of backing out anymore, I hugged her around her neck as she started off walking before jogging and running in the end.

I was holding on really tight in fright but it was awesome at the same time, even if I wasn't the one doing the running it felt like I was really a wolf for once.

she slowed down near the treeless giant backyard with the big house where we lived visible in all its glory in the distance.

'could I ask you to go to that tree and pull out clothes?'

"clothes?" I asked but did as told, there were really clothes in a hole in the tree and a lot of them, I pulled out a red T-shirt and black pants and handed it to her, she took it in the mouth and walked in a bush, after a few minutes coming back in her human form.

"you may not have this problem but when we shift, our clothes get ripped up, I didn't take the time to undress before shifting" she explained while she walked out to me with a smile.

I couldn't help myself and pulled her close with my arms around her waist and kissed her, she was a little taken aback but only for a second before she kissed back with her hands around my neck.

I liked her bottom lip, easily getting access as she let me explore her mouth with my tongue.

we pulled away when air became a problem, I chuckled as she was blushing and averting her eyes, she's just so cute.

I hugged her for a little while longer and let her go with a little peck on her lips before I started walking towards the house.

"oh and Ash?" I said, turning around to face her.

"y-yeah?" she answered shuttering.... cute....

"try to keep your hidden treasure hidden" her eyes snapped downwards, becoming red like a cherry, turning away while she covered her front, glaring at me while I laughed and walked away.

"I hate you so much!" she yelled only making me laugh.

"I love you too" I yelled back.... I had Ash back.... I had the love of my life back..... I'm not loosing her again....
