Ash's pov:

my eyebrow twitched slightly at the state I was in.

Ashton, Ally and Asha, still not giving up on leaving me alone had woken me up by throwing themselves on me.

"I'll murder you" I muttered, staring at the roof while being crushed by their weight, to be honest Ally didn't seem to enjoy this either as she was the one on me with the weight of my cousins on her.

"Ashton laughed like a mad man and ran away, pulling both girls after him.... can't they give me a break in the holidays? I looked at the wristwatch I now always wore....... it's past eight in the night! wait how did I fall asleep so easily

I got up and walked over to my shower, showed and got dressed in underwear, red T-shirt, blue shorts and nothing much more was needed, I didn't care for people to see the bandages on my arms even if they served no purpose.... well....

cutting = harm, harm = pain, pain = bandaging, bandaging = safety, safety = healing, healing = good or something along those lines.

so if I just skip the cutting part my brain will still register bandaging = safety and safety = healing, so it will stop the urge.... at least that's my explanation to all of this because I'm not really sure if it's how it works but at least it works.

Asha and Ashton dragged me along with them to where Ally was waiting for them, all of them with a bag on them.

"what's going on?" I muttered, pulling my hand out of their hold.

"we have planned to go up to the old castle and thought you would want to come to solve the myth" Asha said

the old castle.... it was the place where the old queen ruled the wolves until she died in battle and gave the title to my granny, the castle was said to be abounded since the death of the previous queen but people sometimes saw lights and heard noises from the castle, saying it was haunted and forbidden to be approached.... mom and great aunty always defended us from going up there, saying it was way too dangerous.

"are you out of your minds?" I whisper yelled.

"come on don't tell me you are scared, nothing can hurt us up there, everyone is out so they won't know we even left" Ashton said.

"it's forbidden to go to the castle!"

"no one will know, come on" I shook my head "your lose"

my mouth hung open as they walked away, I cursed silently, running inside, filling a bag with bottles of water and food and picking up my phone before running after them, dammit I can't let them do this.

"look who decided to join us" I ignored Ashton and shoved him as I passed him and walked towards the castle, the rest following in silence as my annoyed aura was palpable in the air.

I let Asha take the lead after a little while as she had a map, I looked down at my phone but there was no connection to any network so that meant we couldn't call people, I groaned as Ashton and I used the flashlight on our phones to illuminate what was at our feet while Asha had a flashlight and Ally stuck to her side with the excuse of saving the battery on her own flashlight.

I really felt like something was off about all of this but as future alpha I can't let them go off when I know they may be getting in danger.

I kind ran forwards at a part, running past a rotten house I never wanted to see again.

"Ash slow down!" I stopped only after a few minutes, holding my chest, trying to calm down my insanely fast beating heart as I fell to my knees, my breathing going at an unstable and fast rhythm.
