Anna's pov:
we are fucked.
let's just say this...... if you ever meet Ashlin...... don't you dare to get on her bad side.
I'm saying this because we, we as in Ash and I, were kind of forced to sit on the couch, the furthest from each other possible and without a word as Ashlin stood in front of us with her arms crossed in front of her, I feel like a kid caught for stealing cookies again.
"mom please" Ash tried and she angrily sighed.
"since when were you down in the living room?" Ashlin asked.
"half an hour"
"and since when was I down in the kitchen?"
"half an hour"
"and you didn't think you should have told me when you came down?!"
"sweetie clam down" Ashlin's mother tried to save us from her wrath.
"I will not calm down! you don't get it?!"
"Ashlin your mother and I had you when she was younger then Ash and you did too"
"that's the problem! I don't want her to be this young as a mother!"
"but maybe it didn't happen"
"Anna!" I sat up straight when she called my name.
"yes?"
"you used a condom?!" I turned bright red with Ash as some pack members stared after having heard Ashlin yell that.
"euh.... ah... e..."
"answer me!" she shook me by my shoulders.
".................... n-no?" I said more like a question and she slapped herself in the face.
"Ash goddess dammit! I warned you about this a thousand time and you still go and ignored my warnings?"
"sorry mom b-" "when did it happen?!"
"y-yesterday"
"you know what?! I'm done!" Ashlin walked away leaving us in a tense silence.
"she just needs to cool down, she's worried because I had her young and she had you young, she knows of the responsibilities if something happened, she's only worried for both of you even if she doesn't show it the right way" I sighed in slight relief but one thing was still bothering me.
"what if I/you did get pregnant" Ash and I said at the same time looking at each other.
"it's your choice of what you will do, I let Sky decide of what to do and she kept Ashlin even with how young she was, you already have a child so you know what another would come with.... now excuse me but I'll go find my daughter" she walked away and the silence was back.
"I-I'm sorry" I looked over at Ash to see tears rolling down her face, I pulled her to me and hugged her as she laid her head on my chest, sniffling already.
"it's fine, neither of us were thinking"
"b-but what will we d-do if you a-are...."
"hey hey hey love don't cry, we'll think of something just stop crying, maybe I'm not pregnant, we need to wait alright? plus your granny is right, I do kinda have knowledge of how to raise a kid and Jake already sees you as his mother without having told him face to face" I held up the drawing the rested on the top of the couch while I held her.
'I wouldn't mind a pup!'
'of course you wouldn't'
'what was that tone?!'
'I'm joking jeez'

I giggled at the following colourful waterfall of curses from this newly met wolf in my head.
"hmmm?" Ash raised an eyebrow while I tapped my forehead and she nodded, getting what I wanted to say.
"so what's her name?"
"it's Eva and she's something" she chuckled.
"yeah tell me about it, having a wolf and a ghost wolf in your mind isn't easy either" I was confused for a few seconds before I remembered she literally called down the moon goddess to tell us this.... I'm still worried about that but I try not to think about it, Ash is strong and would never be defeated by anyone...... yeah never.... ever....
"but why does Jake see me as his mother anyway?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I guess he can sense the connection or at least see the way we act with each other, he's a smart kid and he really liked you the first time he met you, you carried him like a potato bag on your shoulder when he wanted you to pick him up"
"I guess you are right...... I'm just worried with all that's happening and is to happen with me will put anyone I care about in danger"
"we'll be fine Ash, you and your family have a whole town worth of pack members, heck half of this town is from your pack, everything will be alright"
"I hope so"
"it will be fine"
