I was cuffed and pushed along, jeez I wouldn't try to run away from fully armed cops.... but I would if they weren't armed.... what? I don't think you'd want to end up in jail would you hmmmm? would you?!
I gulped slightly when I was pushed in the court room, stressing over nothing, I didn't kill him........... right?
people I knew and don't were here, what I hated was the fact Anna was here but happy her son wasn't here, Jake would have been distraught at the sight and scared of me.... please don't blame me.... I didn't want this to happen.
"silence in the courtroom!" the judge hit his sort of wooden mallet on the table.... or I don't know what that thing is called where he is sitting, that mallet looks like a hammer the hammer bros in Mario bros 2 throw.... wait stop spacing out Ash!
"Ash Blackblood, future alpha of the pack living in our town and forest, are convicted of manslaughter and assault"
"wait wha--" I cut myself off................... oh god no.... oh please no! NO!
"if I may my honour, she's young and surely couldn't have meant it, don't give sentence yet and listen to arguments of the witnesses" wait since when do I have a lawyer?! did I space out?! dammit!
no one that saw me hit Ben could say what happened before and all thought I was the assailant.... just great.... oh my god he's dead, I punched him to death.... why? why why why why? everyone around me must die?! grammy, Asha's mother, Ashton, dad.... even Ben, I have no right in taking life................... wait.... a wolf's hands are always covered in blood and mine already were.... so why does this affect me? I killed the second I shifted....
(sorry ImYourMasochistLover I know you wanted to guilt trip ash but I forgot she already killed so that wouldn't work *shrugs* next time~)
I was ushered forward, seems like it's the time to tell everyone what REALLY happened.
"alright, you are not to lie will speaking" the judge said and I sighed.
"the morning it happened, Ashton, the shot boy, Asha, Ally and I were walking in the halls of the school, we planned to not mingle like always, stay out of people's way so they left us alone. on the way we spotted Ben, the boy I beat up and I don't regret it if you want 100% truth, we spotted him trying to force himself on a girl, in more vulgar words, rap the girl.
Ashton hit him and they got in a fight, Asha and Ally got Ashton to the school nurse while I reserved a table for us in the lunch room. Ben came up to me and started yelling, I told him of about what he did but he only got mad and almost strangled me if other students didn't decide to hold him down and call out the cops.... they did nothing and let him go free, saying not real crime was made.
Ashton and I went out drinking with friends and walking home Ben showed up, pissed and waving a gun around, he shot Ashton.... you need to understand this, Ashton is as close to me as if he was my brother by blood, same for Asha so when Ashton got shot I simply snapped, I already had enough when he tried to choke me but this was overboard, I was so mad at him for hurting someone I cared like close family about I didn't notice the damage done"
I wanted to smile, smile at all the people that were trying to put me in prison, smile at their distraught expression about what the real truth was.
"your honour, this crime was a passionate crime which is 3 or less years in prison with a heavy fine but the victim, Ben Culkin, has done much crimes himself, robbed, shot, raped and I could go on, he was under police watch and was not arrested after his attempted murder of my client after, I remind you, stopping him from raping a girl.... if we go by what we heard it's the polices fault that they let that man go free.... going back to the years of prison I mentioned.... it's said such thing must be a premeditated crime but this isn't so you can't sentence my client to prison, if there's need for more convincing, my client is a young lady that has life to still figure out, after what happened with the kidnapping accident I don't think she would ever willingly submit anyone to such harsh treatment, plus she's not old enough for it, it would destroy her chance at a normal life, education and to get a job after she gets out.... a minimum of pecuniary penalty and work of general interest but nothing more"
