Chapter Twenty

You began training again the next day. Going by up against Eld, and eventually winning, but it was close.

In a week all of the squad leaders had to go to some confidential meeting in a week, and Levi was working his ass off to get all of the paperwork done.

Hearing that loud squeal that the teapot made, you rushed over, and started to steep the tea. Adding a spoon of honey, you put everything on a tray, and started walking to his office.

You heard a quiet, timid voice from his room, and you started to walk slower. Nearing his office, you recognized the voice to be Petra's. Knowing how nervous, and happy she seemed to be around him, you immediately assumed what was going on.

Going only a foot away from the door, you could hear her say, "it's okay I just needed to say that." Immediately backing down the hall, making it look like you had just been getting there, you saw Petra walk out swiftly, her head hung low.

Opening the door to his office, you saw him rubbing his temples. "Why did Petra walk out of here just now looking glum?" You asked cautiously. He sighed, and said a very vague answer. "She came to tell me something." You sighed, and set down the tray holding the tea that he got every day.

You swiftly grabbed half a stack of paperwork, and began. He protested, and you just slapped his hand away.

      On your way down to the kitchen to make some more tea, you saw Petra. Wondering why she came out of Levi's office so gloomy looking. "Hey Petra, are you alright? You look kinda sad." You said as you made your way into the kitchen. She followed slowly behind you, and just said, "Levi is overworking himself, and won't let me help." You knew it was a lie, you were good at reading people. "Humph, he is an annoying midget. That is his fault if doesn't want help." You spoke. She looked dumbfounded.

      She softly smiled. That day you found out that you loved to make people laugh, and smile.

     Going to sit down next to Hanji for dinner, you noticed that Oluo was at her usual spot. Confused, you slowly sat down. He glared at you, and said, "look what the Titan dragged in." You ignored him, and he continued taunting you. "How have you not gotten eaten yet? Or crushed?" You turned your head, and said this, "cause they see your ugly-ass face first and run away." He didn't know what to say, as the whole table went silent. Then Eld and Gunther started laughing so hard you thought that they might piss their pants.

     Smirking, you caught a glance of Oluo biting his tongue.

     That night brought more night terrors.

You were sitting up against a tree trunk. Your hands, and head felt sticky. Getting up, and going closer to a random campfire, you then looked at your hands, and almost vomited. Your hands were covered in dark, thick red blood. Just then, looking up, you saw titans running at you from all directions. They started to pick, and rip you apart. The last thing that you saw was two, huge, deep red eyes staring at you from the shadows.

Hello! Wattpad is being an ass, and I can only do one letter at a time for bold or italic. So that is why this letter is normal. But, the nightmare was a pain in the ass. I also made an oneshot book of you and Levi. It isn't the best, but it is gonna be filled with ideas I have that wouldn't make a good story.
