Human!AU with Logan as my teacher on the last day of school.

Out of everything that could've happened on the last day of school, this was definitely not something Logan had expected. He had arrived at the high school in low spirits, his feet dragging as he tiredly pushed open the door to his classroom. Frowning deeply at the absence of students, Logan sighed and switched on the lights. He gasped when he was suddenly tackled to the ground by an unseen mass, his head narrowly missing the edge of his desk as he fell. Groaning and fixing his glasses, he looked up to see the entirety of his Grade 9 English class lying on top of him.

"W-What are you doing here?! It's not a mandatory day! You all should be at home-"

"Yeah, well, we didn't want you to be alone on the last day!" one of the students, Logan presumed it was either Ethan Kenny or Sam Gee, cried out in a no-nonsense tone. Logan blinked and then grinned, hugging the students closest to him before gently pushing them off and getting to his feet.

"I brought chips and soda! Leesa baked brownies, Artyom and Ace pitched in to buy a pizza, and we all signed a card! We thought you needed a break; we noticed you haven't been yourself these past few weeks," Julia said, holding up the goods and grinning at her teacher. Logan laughed slightly and smiled, shaking his head in disbelief.

"You're all crazy, you know that?" Logan said, snickering softly. His class laughed and he smiled at them fondly as they got out paper plates and set the treats on the table. Maybe today wasn't going to be so bad after all.
