Logan hated days like this. Days where he came off as cold, cruel, calculating, hurting the others and lashing out at them without mercy. These days, he was a different person. These days, he was a monster.

But on these days, all Logan wanted was love.

He could feel the terrified gazes of the others as he came down the stairs, his expression stormy and his eyes hard as ice. Only Patton looked at him with slight concern as he walked past him, Roman, and Virgil and went into the kitchen to get his daily cup of coffee. As soon as Logan thought he was out of sight he gripped the counter tightly, his knuckles white as his shoulders shook. He was so tired. He just wanted to rest, to sink into his bed and sleep for days, to cry and sob and scream and just let himself feel something, but he couldn't. Tears pricked Logan's eyes and he wiped them away quickly, picking up his mug and rushing back to the stairs.

"Logan, would you like to join us for a movie?" Patton piped up.

"No," Logan snarled, his eyes blazing as he whirled around to face the fatherly trait. Patton flinched but continued to smile kindly at the other trait.

"Come on, Lo. You need a break. You've been working non-stop for weeks. Relax," Patton said, a bit more firmly, getting up and grabbing Logan's wrist. Logan jerked violently. Patton's touch was too hot, too much, too much too much too much too much. Patton watched with wide eyes as Logan backed away quickly, tripping over the stairs and falling flat on his back, his cup of coffee falling to the ground and spilling. Logan curled up, covering his face and trembling. Roman started to stand but Patton shooed him back to the couch to sit next to Virgil. He knelt down in front of Logan, resting a hand on his knee. Logan held back a strangled cry and tried to move away. Patton removed his hand somewhat reluctantly, but Logan still didn't relax.

"Logan-" Patton began.

"Leave me the fuck alone," Logan hissed, ignoring Patton's hurt face as he pushed himself to his feet and stormed up the stairs to his room.

These days were more common than Logan wished. These days were painful for everyone. These days were the days Logan's self-hate and self-destructive behavior ran wild. These days were filled with tears and sleep deprivation and starvation. Patton, Virgil, and Roman understood. But they didn't forgive.
