"I forgot you used to like this stuff!" Roman said with a small giggle, holding up a book of poems for his friend to see. Virgil's face turned bright red and he quickly snatched the small book away from the princely trait, fighting back a small smile as Roman continued to look through his things enthusiastically. The two traits had decided that, in an attempt to get better acquainted with one another, they should look through some of their greatest memories. Like Patton's memories, all of the others sides had objects in their room that related to memories specifically applying to whatever traits of Thomas they represented. Roman's room had been quite an adventure, and the anxious side was somewhat dreading what the prince would find in his pile of junk that he'd brought down to the living room.

"Ooh, look at all these notebooks! Not trying to steal my job, are you?" Roman asked, winking playfully at Virgil. The dark side shook his head, once again fighting back a smile, and trying to ignore the fluttering feelings in his chest. Roman started to flip through the notebooks and Anxiety sighed, propping his chin on his knees and staring at Princey. The way his eyes sparkled with interest, how he commented excitedly on Virgil's stupid poetry from seventh grade....it made the darker trait happy.

Did he love Roman? Oh, hell yeah. He always had. And now, he was right there, right there across from Virgil on the couch. He was so close, and if Virgil just leaned forward slightly, he could capture the royal trait's lips in a kiss he would never forget. But, fear and worry that Roman didn't return his feelings kept Virgil from trying. He wasn't nearly good enough and for now, he would satisfy his feelings by nurturing the slowly growing friendship between the two of them.
