"Hey, Logan, wanna hear a joke?" Patton asked, grinning at the other trait from his normal spot across the room. Logan sighed, pushing up his glasses and raising an eyebrow at the other. He did not understand jokes. Nor did he like them very much. But....perhaps it wouldn't hurt to entertain the fatherly trait just once. He nodded and gestured for the other man to continue, making Patton squeal and clap his hands excitedly.

Patton quickly straightened and cleared his throat, still grinning as he said, "When is a door...not a door?" Logan blinked, a small smile threatening to spread across his lips. It was....a riddle. Logan liked riddle. He thought for a moment, still trying not to show his excitement/glee. Suddenly Logan smiled smugly to himself and looked back at Patton, expression serious once more.

"When it's 'a jar'." Patton gasped and covered his mouth with his hands, eyes shining with pure joy. He jumped up and down on the balls of his feet as he saw Logan fight to keep his serious expression and not dissolve into laughter. Logan liked the joke. And Logan thought the joke was funny.

"OH MY GOSH, YOU GOT THE JOKE I'M SO HAPPPYYYYY!" Patton practically shrieked, throwing his hands in the air and dancing around in a circle gleefully. Logan allowed himself to chuckle and rolled his eyes affectionately at his (*cough*boy*cough*) friend's familiar antics.

"Yes, it was quite a good joke, I must say. Now let's go, Roman said he needed our help for something," Logan said, quickly changing the subject back to the task at hand. Patton complied, a grin still etched on his face as the two of them sunk down into the mindscape
