Ship(s): Platonic LAMPT

"What's happening to me?" Thomas choked out, shaking hard as tears streamed down his face. Logan and Roman exchanged concerned glances as Virgil gently hugged his host, whispering reassurances in his ear as he sobbed softly.

"It appears that he has lost all sense of will, right and wrong, he can't joke, his childishness is gone as well as his ability to function as an adult, and his common sense has seemed to disappear, and he only has the ability to experience negative emotions. You don't think...?" Logan's voice trailed off and he looked at Roman with fear, his eyes wide. Roman shook his head in disbelief.

"Patton wouldn't clock out. He wouldn't do that to Thomas no matter what. He said himself that he'd rather die than leave Thomas," Roman insisted.

"When was the last time any of us saw him?" Thomas asked, more like snapped, his voice muffled as his face was pressed into Virgil's jacket. "It was when we were watching a movie together, and we wouldn't shut up about all the times Patton had screwed up that day. This is our fault. We made Patton go away, a-and now he's not going to come back!" Thomas added, his voice breaking as he started sobbing again and hugged Virgil tighter. Logan could feel tears welling up in his eyes and he shook his head.

"No...No. We have to go to his room. Right now. We're getting him back," Roman said, wrapping an arm around his friend's shoulders comfortingly. Logan greatly appreciated the gesture but resisted the urge to lean against the fanciful trait. Thomas sniffled and looked up at Roman, bleary eyed.

"Y-You think he would listen? Do you think he would come back?" Thomas asked softly, his tone so innocent, so hopefully that Virgil's heart broke and both Roman and Logan were taken aback. They looked at their host, terrified. They needed Patton, and they needed him now. With Thomas assistance, the four traits sunk out and immediately transported into Patton's room, like they had with Virgil.

"What are you doing in here?!" Patton cried as soon as they'd landed. Virgil surged forward and wrapped his arms around Patton in a tight embrace. The normally fatherly trait wrinkled his nose and pushed the other man off of him. Virgil fought back tears and shrank back, hiding behind Logan.

"We saw you were gone. Thomas is a mess. You need to come back!" Logan said. Patton's face blanked, but his eyes were angry. Roman nodded vigorously in agreement, Virgil was still recovering from being rejected, and Thomas felt too weak to say anything.

"You really think I'm going to come back now that you all realize you need me? That I'm not some sort of idiot who just embarrasses Thomas? Well, you thought wrong. Get out of my room," Patton said coldly.

"But-" Roman started.

"GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" Patton shouted, and he opened the door before shoving them all out one by one, ignoring their cries of disbelief and apologies. He slammed the door shut and leaned his back against it, hiding his face in his hands and sliding to the ground. He heard them slamming on his door, demanding to be let back in, and he let himself cry. He wouldn't go back. They didn't want him. They didn't need him. He was better off alone.
