10- Halloween

I  woke up with a huge smile on my face, for two reasons, the first being  that it's Friday and everyone gets excited when it's Friday, and the  second is because My good friends Becca and Yasmin are coming over after  school to get ready for the Halloween party later tonight at one of  Shawn's friends house, his name is Josh, he's a lovely guy.

Shawn does have a great circle of friends, they are always so nice to me  whenever I'm around Shawn. Speaking of Shawn, it's been just under a week since we almost kissed. To say it's been awkward is an understatement. I mean it's not as if we haven't spoke to each other we  still regularly text each other and talk in school but neither one of us  has brought it up even though it's obvious that it is brewing on both  of our minds.

The car ride to school was the same 2 minute conversation we have every  morning, after arriving at school we say our goodbyes to each other and  go to our lockers. Yasmin and Becca were already stood at my locker waiting for me to arrive.

I  told them about Shawn and I almost kissing on Monday, they are my best  friends they should know these things but ever since then they have been watching my every move. Both of them think me and Shawn are going to be  a couple, I mean as much as I would love that I don't want to ruin our  friendship, there is just too much to lose if it ends badly. 

"Hey hey hey" Yasmin spoke as she seen me walking towards them.

"How was mr lover boy?" Becca said wiggling her eyebrows

I just shot her a sarcastic death glare and put my books in my locker.

"Are you both excited for tonight?" I said trying to move the conversation away from Shawn.

Both of their faces lit up at the thought of it.

"I'm so excited, I'm ready to work my magic on Josh" Becca said swaying her hips causing us two to laugh.

"Well,  while you work on Josh I'll be working my sweet sweet magic on the new  girl" Yasmin said eyeing up a very quite looking girl as she walked past  us.

Becca has always had a thing for Josh he's a very handsome, tall boy, but  she's never had the nerves to ask him out properly they have always only been friends. Whereas Yasmin is bisexual and is currently swooning for  the new girl who moved here last week, her name is Evie she seems lovely but shy, I wouldn't have thought parties where her scene but she's  going to be there tonight so let's see how that ends up.

Our conversation was brought to a halt when the bell rang indicating that first lesson was about to begin, we were all in the same lesson so we  headed off in the direction of chemistry.

The  school day was finally over it felt like it was going on forever. I was  currently waiting outside Shawn's car with Yasmin waiting for Becca and Shawn to come out of their lessons, as Yasmin and Becca are getting ready in my house for tonight's party Shawn is giving us all a lift back  home. Shawn arrived before Becca so he let us in the car to wait in the  warm.

I hop into the passengers seat and rub my hands together to generate heat.

"Who are you going to be tonight?" I question Shawn.

"It's a surprise, you will have to wait and see" he said looking over in my direction.

"Fine, but mine is definitely going to be the best" I say stubbornly

"We will have to wait and see won't we sunshine" he said

"Get a room" Yasmin said just when Becca got into the back of the car.

"Sorry  I'm late guys, mr peter decided to be a piece of shit and continued to teach us after the bell had gone with that stupid saying 'The bell  doesn't dismiss you I do'" she said pretending to do his voice causing the car to erupt with laugher.
