23- Goodbye

"Alicia what do you think you are doing?" My mum sternly asked as she followed me to Shawns front door.

"Why are you crying? Georgia has planned this whole trip to see you Ali, she's your bestfriend why are you doing this?" She continues as Georgia now is stood behind my mother.

Both me and Shawn stepped outside the door closing it behide us so his family wouldn't be interupted by this disagreement.

"I think his is a story for Georgia to tell, Mrs Brown" Shawn spoke to my mother still with a protective arm around my body.

"Can someone explain what is going on?" My mum said clearly confused looking at Georgia.

"Mrs brown I.." Georgia started but the sound of her voice was annoying me already so i stopped her.

"She kissed Shawn Mum" i said as my mums eyes turned angry directed at Shawn, a look that could kill.

"Mum don't give him thatn look its not his fault, Georiga covered his eyes, he thought she was me" I cleared things up my mum's eyes stayed angry but turned her attention to Georgia.

"that is not what happened" Georgia said crossing her arms.

"You know, even though I've known Georgia for a lot longer than I've known Shawn, I Shawn would never do anything like this, in them 17 years of Ali's life, I've never seen her happier than she is with Shawn. Georgia I think you Should get back on that plane and leave Ali and Shawn to live their life happily without you in it" My Mum said quite savage my I add.

Georgia doesn't speak she just flicks her hair damaticly and walks off down the street.

My mum sighs and hugs Shawn "dont ever do that again" She said earning a Laugh from both me and Shawn.

I say my goodbyes yet again to Shawn and walk back inside with my mother.

"I will drop it after this one question, Do you trust him Ali?" My Mum says as we both flop onto the sofa.

"More than anything Mom" I say

"Okay well so do I, and dont call me Mom, you are already losing your British accent" My mum said, i didnt even realise I said Mom.

we talk for a few moments longer before we put a movie on, we both agreed on Bridesmaids, even thought the first scene isnt exactly what I wanted to watch with my mother.

We snuggled up with our blankets and popcorn and laughed away to the movie.

Once the movie was over we started to make the dinner, my dad was eating out tonight with some friends from work so it's just me mum and Harley tonight, speaking of Harley I am going to make sure she is okay, she's been playing on her room all morning.

"Hey sis you okay?" I say as I sit down next to her on the floor with her toys.

She nods slowly my looking up from her dolls.

"Harl, what's wrong?" I sat laying down picking up one of her dolls and begin to braid the hair.

"Why was everyone shouting?, has Shawn done something wrong?" She said looking sad

"No baby, Shawn is okay he hasn't done anything wrong, but Georgia, remember from England? She isn't a very nice person but she's gone now, there isn't anything to worry about." I say trying to explain is the best that I could without any details of what actually happened.

"Oh, so you still love Shawn?" She questioned making me laugh a little.

"I will never stop loving Shawn" I smile.

"Oh, okay then me too" She spoke proudly.

Harley jumped up onto my back and i carried her down stairs to where our mum was just finishing up the dinner.

"There is my beautiful girls" my mum smiled taking harley off my back and kissed her cheek.

we all sat down at the dinner table and enjoyed this moment with just the 3 of us.

Hey guys im so so sorry that i havent posted in a while, I've just been very stressed over christmas but im back now and hopfully ill be uploading once a week with both of my books. I will also go back to my normal sized chapters, i know is is a short chapter.
