Falling deep [S.M]

12- Adventures

Today is Saturday it's been a couple of weeks since Mine and Shawn's relationship started. Within that time we have spent almost everyday together, there is nothing I love more than being in his company.

I'm currently sat on my bed scrolling through Netflix looking for something new to watch. Harley and my parents have gone out shopping in Toronto for the day so I've been left alone, whenever I'm bored I always have Harley to  play with and make me laugh but not today therefore she's been replaced by Netflix.

I divert my attention from my laptop screen to my bedroom window, I notice that Shawn's window is open and he's playing his guitar. I edge my window open so I can hear the peaceful music coming from my talented  boyfriend. Once he had finished playing one of Ed Sheehan's songs I speak up causing him to jump a little.

"Play another one I'm enjoying this" I say a little louder than normal so he can hear me. His head shoots in my direction as he didn't know I was listening.

"Sunshine you've just given me a heart attack" he said putting his hand on his heart turning to face me.

"Sorry Mendes" I say giggling

"I'm bored, will you entertain me?" I continue with a cheesy grin on my face.

"I'm bored too, what should we do?" Shawn says leaning his arms on the window frame copying my position.

"I don't know, I'm feeling adventurous" I say wiggling my eyebrows a little

"Well then, let's on an adventure" Shawn said laughing a little "meet me outside in half an hour" Shawn said closing his window.

I quickly get ready excited for what the day will bring. I've already showered and got dressed this morning so my hair and makeup are all that's left to do. I leave my hair down as I straightened it before and I simply put on my everyday makeup routine not wanted to waste any time.

When I get into Shawn's car he begins to drive in the direction of the train station. I don't where we are going but wherever it is I'm sure it will be better than a date with Netflix and my bed.

"Wait here" Shawn says pulling into a parking space at the train station. I watch as he runs to the ticket booths. Only a few minutes pass waiting for Shawn, he jogs back to the car and hands me a ticket.

"So, where are we going?" I ask him joining him outside the car.

"I don't know I asked her to surprise us, she said to go to platform 3 the train will be here in 5 minutes" he said taking my hand leading me into the train station.

The  train ride was about 3 hours, I have only ever been to Toronto in this country I don't know what the rest of Canada is like, but I'm excited to explore.

We end up in a place called Kingston, Shawn has only ever been here once when he was just a little boy, so this is an adventure for both of us.

It's  a beautiful place, there's a massive waterfront here there lots of  shops and businesses. We found a little cafe to eat in, it was so cute inside, pictures of lots of different people covered the walls, all of  the tables where different shapes and sizes, all wooden. It reminded me of home, back in Britain little cafes and coffee shops like this one would be on every corner, I loved it.

We  sat down and shared a slice of chocolate cake, we took this time to just sit and relax as we knew we would be walking for the next few  hours. On the way out we got some ice cream and headed for a park, it was a small piece of green land with a little duck pond in the centre.

We  sat down on a bench eating our ice cream watching the ducks swim around  laughing and joking about anything and everything. When company joined  us on the bench, an old couple sat down next to us they much have been  about 70 or 80 years old but you could tell they were still madly in love with each other.
