17- Reunited

I grab my luggage of the baggage carousel not wasting any time because I knew Shawn was waiting for us to arrive at the other end of the airport.

I let my family know I was going to find him and left them there waiting for the rest of the bags. 30 days have past since the last time I saw him, since the last time I touched him. It felt like a lifetime, I praise the people who are in long distance relationships I honestly don't know how they do it.

I speed up my walk and push through the big white doors scanning the room full of the faces of loved ones from everyone on my flight. Its not long before my eyes connect with his and I cant wipe the smile of my face, I run and jump into his strong arms being in his grasp reminds me of everything I have missed over the past month. We don't say a word, we simply just hold each other, his scent fills my nose, something I have been craving ever since I left. its so good to be back, to be home.

Still in Shawn's arms I pull my body back so I can see his flawless face "i've missed you so much" I say and kiss his lips with nothing but love.

Shawn smiles into the kiss and repeats my words "I've missed you so much" he said placing my feet back on the ground. I turn around to pick up mu bag that I dropped on the floor and noticed a lot of people looking at us.

"babe, why are they looking at us?" I say confused putting a strand of hair behind my ear.

Shawn chuckles and brings his mouth down to my ear "Sunshine its not everyday that someone watched a girl jump into someone's arms is it?" 

"I was just making it clear that I love you, and that I missed you very much." I say grabbing on to both sides of his jacket, getting on to the tips of my toes to gently kiss his lips.

"is it safe yet? have you two stopped making out?" I hear a familiar female voice.

I turn around to see Aaliyah walking towards us from a little café that she had been hiding in.

"I didn't know you were here, I've missed you" I smiled and gave her a cuddle.

"yeah, I hide for about 5 minutes, didn't want you witness you two sucking on each others faces." she said so bluntly. 

About 2 minutes later my parents and Harley finally came out of the white doors with the rest of the bags. 

"Shawnieeeee" Harley runs into his arms he spins her around making her giggle, they just melt my heart.

"hey ray, wow you are so tall, almost as tall as me" he said being dramatic, she's not even as tall as his leg, but its makes her happy nevertheless. 

Harley gives Aaliyah a hug and my parents hug them both. My mum and Dad drive back in our car that we left in the car park and Shawn, Aaliyah, Harley and I go back in Shawn's car, We blast music as loud as possible and sing along just as we used to. Aaliyah and Harley were dancing along to the music in the back. 

Once we got back to the house Shawn helped me unpack all of my clothes before we left again, Shawn ran into his house to grab his guitar and we headed in the direction of the woods.

His hand rested on my leg for the whole journey, he keeps his attention on the road but every so often he would just look at me and smile. "I've missed you so much, I'm so glad I've got my Sunshine back" he said squeezing my thigh slightly. I take his hand in mine and kiss it softly before placing it back down on my leg. 

We arrive moments later at the woods, Shawn gets out the car and opens my door for me before I get chance to do it myself. I place my hand in his as we walk the familiar route to the centre of the woods. The trees surround us as we talk about everything that happened over the past month.
