29- The most perfect weekend part 4

The night had come upon us quickly, the day has consisted of us all chilling out after the arcade games that morning.

"so the annual weekend tradition is to build a fire and have a barbecue on the lakeside, sometimes Aaliyah and I will get in for a swim but its always freezing, obviously because its dark and night time" shawn said filling me in on what will be happening that evening.

"sounds like a plan" I say excited.

Manny was already setting up the barbecue for all the food to be cooked later. Aaliyah had changed into comfy clothes and Shawn was helping his mother bring some blankets outside for the evening.

I sat ooutside on the swinging chair and curled my legs up to keep the heat in. Aaliyah say opposite me, we talked for a little while chatting away about the most random things until the food was ready. Karen was still inside, I think she was getting changed.

Shawn and Manny were talking by the barbecue looking very suspisious, i walked over to get food and their conversation instantly stopped, I narrowed my eyes at Shawn but dropped it, asking Manny if I could have a burger.

Once everyone had their food we all sat down, Shawn sat next to me on the swinging chair and wrapped one of the blanks around us both to keep warm. everyone was having their own indivdual conversations so I thought now would be a good time to ask what he was talking about with his dad before.

"Hey babe, what were you talking about with your dad before? you two looked very suspisious" reopsitioning myself so i could see his eyes.

He shifted his position a little bit seeming uncomfortable, "well you will have to wait and see won't you" He said smirking at me, I yet again narrowed my eyes at him.

"you do realise that im not going to let this go until you tell me right? you've just confused my little brain more"

"You don't have to wait long, I'm taking you out when we get home and you will find out then" He said with confidence.

I let it go and smiled at him, I love Shawn but things like this stress me out, I don't like suprises.

I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Aaliyah got dared by Manny to jump in the Lake fully clothed, lets just say Karen wasn't up for that happening.

"babe don't be stupid, she will get sick itas freezing" Karen said to Manny giving him the eye.

"She will be find she has a change of clothes and we have loads of blankets" He defended himself.

Aaliyah sighed but ran towards the lake doing a backflip into the water, Shawn and I just sat there with our mouths wide open with Shock that she acutally did it. Karen had he head in her hands and shaking her head.

She came running back to us dreanched from head to toe, she quickly wrapped herslef around in the towel and sat back down.

"I dare you two to do it, its not bad when you are in" Aaliyah said to me and Shawn.

"No, no, no! I can already feel the pain from over here" I say but before I know it I was in the air and over Shawn's Shoulder.

"Shawn she said no!" KAren saying being the mother that she is.

"Yes Shawn I said no" I said loud enough for everyone to hear but I couldn't stop the giggles from coming out of my mouth, I could hear Manny and Aaliyah laughing too.

Shawn doesn't throw me in the water, much to my suprise he puts me down at the edge.

"Did you change your mind?" I say

"Nope" He said poping the 'P'

he ran into the water getting himself wet and then coming upt  me to hug me getting me wet too, I tried to run away but he had thought ahead and had picked me up again and walked intot he water throwing me in once we were deep enough.

I come up from under the water and playfully hit him, "Shawn, I hate you" i say trying to hide my smile

"well that was the biggest lie you have ever told" he said tsking my hand as we left the water before we died from freezing to death.

"Shut up" I roll my eyes

"You love me"

"maybe".

...

I know this chapter was short and im sorry but this was the last of the perfect weekend parts, I have lanned an ending to this book, which will happen in the next chapter. I've loved writing this book I really have and I'm so happy it has reached 1K reads but it has to end at some point.

the next chapter will be the longest chapter I have ever wrote, it will be the last chapter of this book however I do have 2 other books on the go if you want to read them. (they are also both Shawn books, but i'm thinking of making another book that is just two people, not shawn or any other celebs)
