I woke up to gentle kisses across my face, I scrunch my nose up and slowly open my eyes stretching my arms up in the air.

"Good, I've been awake for ages" Shawn said laying back down looking up at the ceiling.

I smile with tired eyes "Good morning babe" I say softly cuddling into Shawn's chest.

He  wraps his arms around my body and strokes my hair. I can feel his chest  rise and fall against my cheek, his heart beat was a comforting sound  against my ear.

"Come on let's go down stairs, I can smell pancakes" Shawn said interrupting my peace.

I think about it, as much as I love laying here with Shawn I do really want pancakes.

"Okay fine" I say rolling out of his bed onto the floor. I groan a little causing Shawn to laugh.

"Here, let me help" he said getting up and giving me his hand to help me up.

Shawn's  sweatshirt is almost down to my knees so I don't bother with other  clothes as his family has seen me Looking a lot worse than I do now.

Shawn walks down the stairs and I follow behind not wanting to miss out on pancakes.

"Morning  sweetheart... oh morning Alicia, I didn't know you were here, come eat,  there is plenty for everyone" Karen says giving me a hug.

"Yeah  we got back late last night and I didn't have my house keys to get back  inside so Shawn let me stay here" I said explaining the situation.

All  of us sat around their dinning room table, me and Shawn sat need to  each other and Aaliyah and Karen sat opposite us, Manny sat at the end  of the table as he always does.

I really enjoy the Mendes' company, they are all really nice people.

"So, Shawn, Alicia, how is your school work going?" She said directing the question at both of us.

"It's  hard, but it's only one more year, I'm sure we will be fine" Shawn said  taking a bite out of his pancake causing syrup to drip down his chin  causing all of us to laugh, apart from Aaliyah who was looking at her  phone.

"What about you Aaliyah, hows school going?" Shawn asked.

"Fine" she simply said, I gave her a confused look at her blunt answer and she just went back to looking at her phone.

We finished up eating and I helped Karen clean the dishes.

"You're a great girl Alicia, I don't get many people offering to help clean up" she laughed.

"It's the least I could do considering you didn't know I stayed here last night" I said drying my hands.

"Don't  worry about it Ali, you are welcome here whenever you want to" She  says, I hug her and let her know how thankful I am before I join Shawn  upstairs.

He's looks up from his phone when he sees me walk in, he gets up from his bed and walks towards me.

"I'm going in the shower, would you like to join me?" Shawn said pecking my lips and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"As great as that offer sounds, no, I'm going to speak to Aaliyah" I say leaning back up to kiss his lips.

He  pouts his lips and pretends to be sad "find I'll go alone" he said  dramatically walking into the bathroom sighing all the way causing me to  giggle, I shake my head at how stupid my boyfriend is and then make my  way across the hall to Aaliyah's room.
