25- Talk to me

I slammed the door behind me leaving Becca and Yasmin alone. I ran as fast as I could down the streets, it felt like a lifetime before I got to Shawn's house. Shawn's worried eyes answered the door bringing me in for a quick hug.

By this point I was already crying and so was Shawn, he tried his best to fill me in on what happened.

"I-I stopped her before anything happened, I've taken everything sharp away from her, shes lying on her bed at the moment please talk to her" He said shaking a little.

I nod as a reply and quickly go up to her room.

I lightly knock on her door and slowly enter after pulling myself together.

she rolls over and weakly smiles at me, I lie down next to her and put my arm around her.

"You can talk to me you know, whatever it is, i will always be here for you, I promise if there is anything you want to tell me I wont tell Shawn if you dont want me to" I say playing with her hair.

"How do I know you wont tell Shawn, or that you will always be here for me if anything happens between you and Shawn then you wont be around anymore" She quitely spoke

"I wont tell Shawn because you are practically my sister, I respect you aaliyah, and hopefully nothing will happen between me and shawn but if it does, then that doesnt mean we have to stop speaking, we became friends becuase of my relationship with your brother, it doesnt mean that is the reason i stayed your friend." I reasured her

I heard a slight sigh and a sweet thank you.

"People in school bully me, at first it was just petty remarks about my hair and stuff but then it got more serious and my friends turned against me and alicia, i have no one." She sobbed rolling over to hug me

"Oh Aaliyah, hunny I know how you feel and I know it sucks trust me I know, but you graduate from middle school in s few weeks and then you can move to a different high school from them bullies and you will be happy! But for now I honestly suggest telling your parents, Shawn or even a teacher than you trust because you need to understand that this can end if you do that!" I stress to her

"These bullies, they are birches and you don't deserve that because you are the most beautiful kindhearted girl I've ever met! Please don't harm yourself, why would you want to ruin such a beautiful body? Whenever you feel the need to, don't! And come and find me I don't care where I am or what I am doing but I will be with you as soon as possible okay?" I breath

"Thank you Ali, you honestly don't know how much I needed that" she said still not moving her head from my chest.

We lay here for a few minutes in silence Until there was a knock on the door and it creaked open, I smile when I am greeted with the face on the other side of the door.

"Aaliyah sweetheart, as a family, and Alicia of course, because she is family too, we are going away next weekend for some time away from everything, we will go to our little cottage down by the lake and have some family fun" Karen spoke nudging my side.

"Thank you mom, are you in?" Aaliyah spoke redirecting her attention back to me.

"Of course I am in! I would love too" I say excited.

"Great, well get packing because we leave straight after you are all home from school on Friday" Karen said leaving the room

"If you don't mind, can I get some rest?"  Aaliyah spoke tired.

"Of course babe, get some sleep" I say moving her hair out of her face and close the door behind me on my way out.

I gently knock on Shawn's door and enter, he was on his laptop, he quickly jumped up into a seating position when he seen me, I came to sit down opposite him and explained that she would talk to me if she ever wanted to do it again, obviously I didn't tell him anything she didn't want him knowing, that is for her to tell, not me.

"What would I do without you?" Shawn said gently pulling me so we were cuddling.

"I'm perfect aren't I" I joked

"Yes, Sunshine you are! You practically saved my sisters life, my family love you enough to invite you to are family weekend away and I love you so much every time I look at you my hear skips a beat, yes you are perfect, in every why" he spoke, quite deeply.

"I'm honoured to be part of your weekend, your family are the sweetest people on this planet, and as for you my little Sunshine every time I see you my heart quickens and my smile grows wider! You are everything to me you bloody idiot" I say softly kissing his lips

"Okay, that has to be the most British thing you've ever said 'bloody idiot" he tries coping my accent but fails massively

"Babe, for 19 years you have lived with a British women, how have you not mastered the accent yet?" I ask really confused.

"Accents really aren't my thing, I think I'll stick to my songs and lyrics" he said stroking my hair

"Good choice" I say giggling a little.

In this moment I realised there is nothing, and I mean nothing I wouldn't do for this boy.

Hey guys long time no see!! I will try to update as much as I can but it all depends on the amount of school work I have😭 but I leave school in June and a start uni mid September so get ready for amazing story lines and fast updates in summer but for now they will unfortunately still be slow and no Structure to my updates.
