11- Gossip

I wake up in a great mood, today is Monday the first time I'll see everyone from the party since it happened, apart from Shawn. I spent all day Saturday and all day Sunday with Shawn, just getting to know each other more than we already did.

When I was still at Shawn's on Saturday after the party we decided to get the awkwardness out of the way and tell his family then. They knew it would happen sooner rather than later, they where all very happy for us, especially Aaliyah she's already like a little sister to me now we will become even closer.

My family where told on Sunday, they already had their suspicions before I even knew I had feelings for him so that wasn't a shock for them. Harley loves Shawn, she doesn't really understand the concept of boyfriends, she just thinks we are getting married.

After scrolling through my phone for about ten minutes i get up and into the shower. I wash my hair and body before getting out and dry. My outfit was simple today, black jeans and a white sweater. And chunky scarf as it was getting colder as it edges closer to winter.

I carry on with my normal morning routine doing my make up, eating breakfast, i was  talking to my family when Shawn text me saying he was waiting for me outside. I slide my shoes on and put my bag on my shoulder as I left the house.

I give Shawn a quick kiss when I hop in the car, still something I have to get used to.

"You ready?" Shawn said driving off to school.

"For what?" I said a little confused.

"People know you're my girlfriend, there will be a lot of gossip today" he said putting his hand on my thigh.

I sigh "well that's their problem not ours" I say as Shawn pulls into the same parking space as always.

We both get out of the car with more stares than usual. Instead of the Shawn putting his arm around my shoulder as he normally does he interlocks our fingers, I look up at him with a sweet smile as he gives me a little wink.

We see a lot of people tense up as they see that the rumours are true, I get a few death glares from a few people i don't even know, they are just jealous that I have what they want, and I couldn't be more happy about it.

Shawn stands with me as I put my books in my locker, everyone is just staring at us.

"What? If anyone has a problem with this then you have no life and need a pole stuck up your ass" I said shouting to everyone in the corridor making people shuffle away as if they weren't staring at us.

"That's my girl" Shawn said with a laugh lightly brushing my lips with his.

"Miss Brown" i heard turning around to see one of the strictest teachers in the school staring at me with an angry expression.

"I think you should come with me" she said turning around as if I should follow her I sigh, close my locker and tell Shawn I'll see him at lunch, he just whispered good luck in my ear,she cant be that bad.

I followed closely behind her getting a lot of looks along the way. We finally get to her classroom and she makes me sit on one of the chairs on the front row.

"Now, I know that you are new around here but do you think that it is acceptable to speak to people like that!" She spat at me.

"But Miss they were..." I said before she interrupted.

"Do you think it acceptable?" She repeated making every word clear. She is starting to freak me out a little with her angry expressions so the easiest route out of this is to agree.
