Finn ruffled as hair and looked at Maddie with confusion plastered over his face.

"What's up Mads?"

Maddie closed the door behind her, they stood in the backyard, it was empty, besides a couple making out in the corner

Maddie touches Finn's shoulder, "Oh nothing..."

Finn is uncomfortable, something feels... wrong. Maddie steps towards him.

"Listen Maddie, Romeo, your boyfriend, is a good guy. We are actually really good fr-"

Finn is cut off when Maddie shoves her red, glossy lips onto his. He panics for a second, but knows he can't let her kiss him. Finn pushes her away.

"What the fuck, Finn?" She nearly shouts.

"Maddie, we used to have a thing, used too."

She tries to kiss him again.

"Maddie stop, you're dating Romeo, he's a great guy-"

Maddie's eyes well up with tears, "Fine!"

"Maddie, what's wrong?"

"He was totally making goo-goo eyes at that British girl."

Finn's eyes widen, "Well, you don't know that."

Maddie shakes her head, "Yes I do, I told him I was going to get some punch, and I turn around and he's talking to her! And they started dancing!"

Finn's face heats up with jealousy, "Together?"

"Well... no they just danced next to each other. It was a fast song. To be honest they both looked like idiots, but that's not the point-"

"He took my thing!"

Maddie looks confused, "What?"

"To dance like an idiot to get the girl to smile."

"Whatever, I think he likes her."

"Maddie, he's a good guy. He's probably just being friendly, now wipe your eyes  and go talk to him, okay?" Finn said, hoping that Romeo didn't like Millie, because if he did, Finn didn't have a chance against Romeo.

They walked back inside, getting looks from various people that they walked by. He saw Romeo, Gaten and Millie dancing together like idiots. Gaten dropped and did the worm.

Millie wiped her eyes, seeming to be laughing so hard that she cried. Finn smiled, she has dimples.

Finn and Maddie slowly keep walking towards them, Millie notices them, her smile instantly vanishing.

Is she jealous?

Romeo and Gaten's smiles seem to disappear as well. Gaten shakes his head slightly and walks away, he joins Sadie and Caleb back on the dance floor, but Sadie and Caleb were dancing together, so Gaten decided to talk to Noah on the couch.

"So you knew Millie the whole time?" Gaten asked him.

"Yeah, I didn't know she had a crush on Finn though, and when Sadie told me about her 'plan' for Millie, I went along."

"You could've introduced Finn to Millie at lunch before that Camile chick got in the way."

Noah sighs, "Yeah, but I wanted Finn to figure it out himself."

"Yeah... I'm gonna go back to the dance fl-"

"Promise me something Gaten," Noah grabbed his arm.

"Sure, what is it?" Gaten asked curiously.

"Don't tell Finn that Millie has a crush on him."

"Why?"

Noah sighed and looked over to Finn, "I don't want to get his hopes up, I'm not so sure if Millie still has a crush on him now."

Gaten nods, his light brown curls bounced, "Okay."

Romeo walked to Maddie, "Are you fucking kidding me Maddie?" He pointed at her face, which has red lip gloss smeared around her mouth.

Finn touched his lips,  Fuck.

Lipgloss.

"Maddie I can't believe you, why?"

"You were flirting with Millie!"

Finn's blood boiled.

"No I was not, I was just saying hi and we danced, not with each other."

Maddie opened her mouth to say something, and closed it.

A moment passes by, "I- I'm sorry, I get so paranoid because all the girls like you and I thought that you liked Millie and that's why you went to talk to her."

"So you saw me talk to Millie and decided to make out with Finn?"

Finn looked up, sad to see that Millie was gone.

"And you made out with her back Finn? Jesus."

"No I didn't, I pushed her off I swear. You're my friend Romeo, I might be a bit of a 'player', but I don't do that to friends."

Maddie looks at Finn with a death glare, but she knew it was true.

"Is that true Maddie?"

"He- I.... yes, he pushed me away."

"I'm out of here," Romeo walks towards the door, "Millie, need a ride home?"

Finn couldn't hear her, but assumed she said yes because he saw Millie emerge from the crowd of teenagers. She walked with him towards the front door, and they were gone.
