Young:

The Orangutan is also called the "Man of the Woods." Only the dominant adult males has the cheek flaps. A throat pouch enables the Orangutans (most developed in males) to make "long calls" or a call that can travel a long distances. Females will breed at age of 10 and the young will leave their mother at age of 7.
