Wrynecks are a type of woodpecker that only can peck through rotten wood. For a strange reason the Wryneck will mimic a snake to deter predators and as a result, people believed that they have powers. Unlike most woodpeckers, the Eurasian Wryneck has a feeble and shorter bill.
