~Keith's POV~
He's gone and wants me to lead there is no way I can do this. Im not a leader and I can't be as good shiro, not even close.
"Hey man listen we all miss shiro. I remember what a thrill it was to meet him when just the two of us carried him out of that garrison hospital. Your not the only one hurting, were all right there with you, But you know that he would be the first one to tell us that we have to move on" lance said making me regrettably feel better. I knew deep down the black lion was going to pick me but I had to see. Once the lion responded i knew it was wrong.
"I can't replace shiro you guys were right I'm the loner, I'm not the leader shiro thought i was" I said hoping they would find someone else
"Keith no one can replace shiro but the black lion wouldn't choose anybody it didn't feel was worthy to lead voltron. I respect his choice and You should too." Lance said with his hand on my shoulder. His word's stayed in my head even on the way to my room I repeated it. Did he really hate me or not, I mean im rude to him because I don't want to seem vulnerable. I quickly pushed the thought away but noticed lance walking to his room.
"Lance" I yelled
"My room 5 dobosh (5 mins.)"
~Lance's POV~
Why. Why would keith want me to go to his room. He's so....angry and mean like all the time. Maybe its about Shiro or me taking over the red lion. Whatever it is im freaking out. I threw on my Palladian jacked and headed over to his room. Pidge caught me at the door.
"Lance?" She said knowing me and keith don't really 'get along'
"He said he wanted to talk about the red lion" I said really not knowing what we were gonna talk about.
"Oh should I join" she said fixing her glasses
"Ugh no I think we've got it" I said right away
"Okay I'll be in the kitchen watching over hunk" she patted my arm "you know how he is" she finished.
"Haha yah good old hunk" I faked a laugh before rushing into his room.
~Keith's POV~
He came over so quick I didn't even have time to figure out what I wanted to say. He rushed in slamming the door behind him leaning against the door.
"Lance" I said getting his attention.
"Sorry pidge...um you know" he said
"Yah" I said not knowing what to say next and neither did he.
"So is this about shiro or the red lion because I can give him back if you want all you have to do is as-" i cut him off
"No its not about that"
"Then what is it about... you better not have a crush on allura you know she's mine right" he said breaking a little piece of my heart I didn't know mattered.
"No its not that, you know what never mind I don't need anything anymore you can go" I said turning to my bed
"Wait keith what's wrong you can tell me" he pushed
"Really im okay" I said looking at him. He paused
"What are you thinking about?" he asked. Your hips and your back.
"Nothing" I said
"Keith come on" he asked again. Your cute ears and those long legs.
"Really its nothing"
"Come on Keith don't make me call Red on you" he smiled. That freaking smile and that laugh its printed in my mind.
"I guess it's just being the leader it's...new" we both knew that was a cover.
"Well im always here if you need any advice" he smirks.that too that darn smirk.
"Advice from you" I let out a small laugh
"A laugh from you" he added. My face went cold.
"Ah there's good old keith" he said swinging his arm in a fist like gesture.
"Ah there goes lance" I said pushing him out of my room.
"Wait...what....wait keith ke-" I shut the door. I don't remember why I called him here but I felt like I'm missing something.
~LANCE'S POV~
When he first called me to his room I was nervous but once I got there... Anyways it wasn't so bad I just wish he would talk to me. He acted like he needed to talk to me about something important but never really said anything. When he pushed me away I didn't know what to do. I wanted to talk to him but I guess he didn't want to talk to me. Was it something I said? Jeez I'm always messing things up.
