~KEITH'S POV~
the group sat around in the main room looking at me and lance. We finally found a time to talk and I had to take a deep breath to ready myself. I was so nervous to tell them everything.
"Sooo what are you guys" said hunk raising an eyebrow.
"Boyfriend's" lance said. That wasn't so hard.
"How long have you guys been...a thing" allura said obviously new to this kind of thing.
"about 11 months." I said looking at lance.
"Really, thats like almost a year" hunk said surprised.
"Yah, I guess so" lance smiled, his eyes meeting mine.
"How did you keep it a secret for so long" pidge added in Amazement
"Normally we would sneek off to my room and once you guys got suspicious we would switch to his room instead" I said smiling at the memories
"We had no clue!!" They all added into the laughter. The laughs made it easier to talk.
"Why did you hide it" shiro found his voice between the laughs. Me and lance looked at one another not knowing if we should get this into it.
~LANCE'S POV~
"let's just say when we started dating I was terrified of being judged. Lance saw that and over the past few months I've come to accept that this...what we have isn't something to be scared of" keith said. The room was filled with aww's and a few pointless tears.
"We're not judging you keith we love that you guys could finally accept it" allura said. Keith got defensive not liking being so vulnerable.
"I've accepted it since the day we kissed I don't need your approval" he was trying to defend himself and let out a little to much. He was trying to calm down but I don't blame him.
"Sorry keith, I shouldn't have oversteped allura said.
"You didn't, I'm just a little on edge" he said rotating his sholder. I put my arm on his hip showing him I was here for him.
"Any more questions" I said knowing we were done answering.
"Do you love him?" shiro asked directly to me. I've told keith I loved him like I'm just talking another breath. I mean it every time I say it and I know he knows that. I also know he loves me too and whatever I tell them doesn't change that.
"Imagine finding someone and discovering that they mean more to you than anything you could ever have hoped for." I said taking Keith's hand. He took it back wrapping his fingers between mine. They all looked at out hands like it was a magic trick, like it was something different than any other boy and girl would do. I felt their eyes on us watching us like a hawk.
"I think that's enough" keith said saving us. He turned around taking me with him to leave. The group didn't really try to stop us but I could still feel their eyes on us.
~KEITH POV~
I let out a deep breath, one I didn't notice I was holding.
"that was fun" I laughed uncomfortably
"Let's never do that again" he said goining in
"You don't have to say that twice" I added. When we go to my room the pictures were still hanging up. I don't plan on ever taking them down.
"Thank you" lance said
"What now" I said. Hes always saying thank you.
"For not going into detail, I know we wanted to open up but...I like most of is just between us" he said.
"You took the words right out if my mouth" I said.
"I have to give you props, you played it off cool when shiro asked if you loved me" I added
"That's something for me and you to know and for them not to find out" he said holding me by the waist.
~LANCES POV~
"They are gonna hear it sooner or later" he said
"How much later?" I asked wondering how long he see us together.
"Five ever" he said. I could swear he was talking in another language.
"Five ever?" I asked
"It's more than forever" once he said it I could feel my eyes light up. I attacked him with kisses.
"I was thinking forever I guess you beat me there" I said smiling.
"You know I'm better than you, go on just say it" he said joking.
"Ohh cocky much" I said leaning back. He pulled my head into another kiss smiling at the same time.
"This is the first and only time I will ever give you the satisfaction of beating me" I said putting my finger out to point.
"Trust me it's not going to be the last" he laughed shoving my finger away. He kissed me pulling me in from my back.
"I know" I said being cheesey making him smile. I would lose on purposes as long as hes smiling like that.
