Chapter 21

It's been a few years since we've been with Elizabeth and Mitchell and the rest of the gang. The yearis now 2007 and the family has since relocated to New York for Mitchell's job. As for Louise, she is still residing back in Boston with Kent, free from prison. She is still on the hunt to get he rgirls back. The girls are now 13 and heading off to middle school. As for Allison and Holly, they moved along with Mitchell and the gang to New York. Elizabeth found a new teaching position at the school where Isabella, Juliet, and Allison all go to. Elizabeth does travel back and forth on weekends to take Louise to her anger management classes (in case you all were wondering).

Now that we all know what's happening with everyone; we begin on a Monday morning in August on the first day of middle school for the girls' and the first day of work for Elizabeth. Mitchell already left for work prior to the girls' and Elizabeth waking up.

"Girls, you have all of your things?" says Elizabeth, brewing her coffee in her take-on-the-go mug. "Yes, mom; we do." says Isabella. "I do." says Juliet, grabbing the lunches for her and her sister. "Okay, let's have a good first day, shall we?" says Elizabeth, walking the girls to school. "Yes, we shall." says Isabella. "I hope so."says Juliet.

The girls arrive, and get their schedules from Elizabeth and head to homeroom. Juliet walks to her homeroom, and picks her seat. She eyes this gorgeous, blue-eyed, brown-haired gentlemen. He glances at her awful quickly before she does. She smiles back, and so does he.

"Hi, what's your name?" says Juliet. "Chris. Nice to meet you." says Chris, shaking Juliet's hand. "Hi. I'm new here; I'm Juliet." says Juliet. "Where were you from?" says Chris. "Boston, originally." says Juliet. "Okay. Well I hope we can become good friends. I like you, Juliet." says Chris. "Me too. Have a good first day." says Juliet. "You too." says Chris.

The homeroom time progresses, and Juliet is walking to her next class and surprisingly Chris is in her class. This day just gets so much better. I really like Chris. I hope I can get to know him better. He's cute.-Juliet thought. After this class is over, Juliet happens to run into her sister, Isabella.

"Good day so far?" says Isabella. "Met a cute guy. So that's a start." says Juliet. "Cool. Hey, I've got to run to my next class with Allison. See you after school?" says Isabella. "Yes, certainly." says Juliet.

Juliet and Isabella continue their day at school until the school day ends. They see Elizabeth come out of the classroom and they walk back to their apartment. Mitchell arrives home rather early today, and says, "Hi, how was everyone's first day?" Isabella says, "Mine wasn't too bad." Juliet says, "Neither was mine." Elizabeth replies with,"Mine was surprisingly good."

Mitchell says, "Good. How about going out to eat for dinner? I hear they have excellent food in this city." The girls' all nod in agreement and get dressed up for an evening out. They go out for really good Italian food near where they live. Everyone eats and enjoys themselves. They all walk back to their apartment and a note is left on the table- Hi, all, it's Louise; did you think I was forgetting about you all? Never! I'm in town for a few days for a friends' wedding with Kent. I'm not coming to stalk the girls anymore. I've, in fact, changed for the better. I don't want to be the bad person I used to be anymore. And Elizabeth, you don't have to take me anymore to my anger management classes. I've finished those up already. Anyways, I wanted to come and visit your new place while I'm here fo ra few days with Kent. If that's okay with all. I'm done with everything that's happened before. I'm serious about that. That's all I wanted to say.- Louise

"I'm not sure if I believe any of this. Or if Kent wrote this to make it look like she wrote it." says Elizabeth. "I'm hoping it's not what I think it is." says Mitchell. "Me neither." says Juliet. "I don' twant her back." says Isabella. "Hey, I've got an idea- let's grab a coffee and go see a movie." says Mitchell. "That sounds good. But we need to be back so the girls' can get ready for their schoolday tomorrow." says Elizabeth.

The girls' and Mitchell leave to grab coffee and head to the movies for this brisk summer evening. They walk to the movies, get their tickets, and enjoy their movie. This is a great way to take my mind off of Louise and Kent in town.- Elizabeth thought.

What Elizabeth doesn't know is that she is in for a rude awakening come Wednesday. She won't like it at all. But as long as she's safe with her Mitchell and the girls', nothing will come between it.

Mid-Afternoon after school

The girls and Elizabeth are at alocal cafe getting some schoolwork done before the day is over with. A person happens to walk in, and the girls' and Elizabeth look up, and it's Louise.

"Hi, Elizabeth; hi, girls." says Louise. "Hi." says Isabella andJuliet, awkwardly. "What do you want Louise? I'm trying to get stuff done here." says Elizabeth. "Okay, I'll go. But just don'ts et me off, okay?" says Louise. "I'll try not to. Now go; shoo! No one wants you here." says Elizabeth, typing away on her laptop. "Alright, bye now." says Louise.

Louise walks away for a second, and pulls out a gun. She shoots the security cameras so the police can't find her and walks in and begins shooting at the girls' and Elizabeth.

"GIVE ME MY GIRLS BACK NOW!" says Louise, holding the gun to Elizabeth's forehead. "NO! YOU GAVE THEM UP, YOU PRICK!" says Elizabeth, shaking and crying with fear. "NOW! OR YOU DIE!" says Louise, gun still intact. "Okay, okay; I'll give them back. But the girls'don't want you back after all the bad stuff that happened to you prior to moving to New York." says Elizabeth. "Why would you tell them that? I'm a better person." says Louise. "Liar." says Isabella. "You are not a better person!" says Juliet. "Why would you forge your own handwriting and make it look like you got help?" says Elizabeth. "I wanted to better myself for the girls'. But I can't. You guys just try to get away from me purposefully. Like I don't exist." says Louise. "If you stop acting bad and in reality, get better. They might want you back." says Elizabeth. "Okay, for real this time, I'll get the help I need back home. I'm leaving tomorrow anyways. I lied about the wedding situation." says Louise. "Get the help you need and this mess will all be cleared for good." says Elizabeth. "Okay. Bye now." says Louise, waving back at everyone.

The girls' and Elizabeth head back to the apartment and Mitchell is cooking up some dinner for his girls' tonight. They all eat at the dining table, converse, and then clean up. Everyone begins their prep for tomorrow and heads to sleep sooner than you think.
