Chapter 25

Everyone awakes on this new morning and notices the sun is shining brighter than it normally does. Elizabeth brews the coffee for everyone, and asks, "What does everyone want to do today?" Mitchell suggests- "Visiting Louise? Or going to the movies?"

"The movies sound good." says Juliet. "I think so, too."says Isabella. "Okay, I'll arrange it and we'll go this afternoon."says Mitchell. "Dad?" says Juliet. "Yes?" says Mitchell."Where is our birth mom specifically?" says Juliet. "At a treatment center in Boston. I swear she's getting her help she needs." says Mitchell. "Okay, just wondering." says Juliet. "Everything fine?" says Mitchell. "I swear I think I saw her when I was at school last. Like she was there but not there." saysJuliet. "It's fine. You've got nothing to worry about." says Mitchell. "I know I don't." says Juliet. "Breakfast anyone?"says Elizabeth.

Everyone nods, and Juliet makes her second cup of coffee; Elizabeth continued to cook breakfast and Mitchell sets the table up. They all eat within an hour, clean up, and head out to the movies about noon.

They walk to this cinema that shows films from back in the day. Everyone pops in, gets tickets and snacks and heads to the theater to watch the film. The whole family enjoys this. After the movie, they stop to grab some coffee, and head on back to the apartment.

"Good movie?" says Mitchell. "Yes, it was." says Juliet. "It was, dear." says Elizabeth. "Anything else you girls want to do?"says Mitchell. "Nope. I'm going to relax and sip my beverage and hang out." says Elizabeth. "Sounds good." says Mitchell.

All of the girls' kick back, and sip their coffee; Mitchell is upstairs working on work stuff as they do this. Suddenly, Elizabeth's phone rings, and she picks it up.

"Hello?" says Elizabeth, on the phone. "Hi, Elizabeth. May I speak to Juliet?" says Louise. "Um, sure. Okay." says Elizabeth handing her phone to Juliet. "Hi. Hi, how are you? You sound good?"says Juliet. "I'm feeling good. I wake up everyday with good intentions, and enjoy this time getting the things I need." says Louise. "That's good. What kind of things do you do?" says Juliet. "I exercise, I eat healthfully, and I journal." says Louise. "Cool." says Juliet. "School good?" says Louise. "Yes it is." says Juliet. "Good. Listen I'm only allowed five minutes so I'll talk to sometime. Miss you. Bye." says Louise. "You too. Bye." says Juliet. "She sounds good." says Elizabeth. "She does." says Isabella. "I'm glad she getting help. Getting better for us." says Juliet. "I'm glad, too." says Isabella. "You girls want anything?" says Elizabeth. "I'm good, mom. Thanks." says Juliet. "Me too." says Isabella.

The girls' retreat to their rooms to read a book, and take in what is good of today. Juliet is grateful that her birth mama is getting what she needs. Mitchell asks, "Dinner?" Juliet says, "Whatever is fine." "Okay." says Mitchell. He orders some Italian for everyone for dinner. Elizabeth makes a salad to go along with it in the kitchen downstairs. About an hour later, everyone comes down and eats some dinner at the table.

"Heard you talked to Louise today. She's good?" says Mitchell."Yes, dad, she is." says Juliet. "Good to hear. They have a visiting day coming up next month we'll have to squeeze in to take you girls to." says Mitchell. "I agree. We'll have to." says Elizabeth. "I wouldn't mind going. I'd like to see her." says Isabella. "Okay, we'll set it up and go on to it then." says Mitchell. "This takeout is good, dad!" says Isabella. "Well, thank you. Glad you all enjoy it." says Mitchell.
