"When you fall asleep tonight, just remember that we lay under the same stars"
-Shawn Mendes, "Never Be Alone"
It's almost 6 pm and I am here, finishing the bunch of homework they gave us today. I always ask myself, why does my health teacher say we are supposed to sleep 8 hours but they give us a bunch of homework? Just remove the 2-hour homework and I will sleep the f-ing 8 hours!
Me and my crazy thoughts.
Anyways, today at the bakery, Shawn did a pretty good at his job but every once in a while he would glimpse at me. Sometimes I glanced back and he would look the other way or I would just act as I wasn't looking and just look at him from the corner of my eye.
In my room, the desk where I do homework or to write in my ultra secret diary is facing the only window I have in my room. That window faces to Shawn's house and from there I can see the window that shows a room.
As soon as I finished writing, I covered the window with the curtain, just in case someone is looking, and change clothes into a black Trasher hoodie, black leggings and my black and white Adidas. I open the curtains again to let the air flow but then I notice that the light in the room is turned on. I see Shawn sitting on a desk chair facing his phone and holding his acoustic guitar.
That must be his bedroom.
He clicks the lower part of his phone and sings with his amazing voice:
"Say something I'm giving up on you..."
I stood there in shock, listening to his angelic voice for about 2 minutes. Shawn is truly goals. When he finish singing, he looks at my direction and trying to not make him see me, I slip and fall on the ground.
"Ouch..." I said, touching my back. I groan and stand up slowly. I see him leaning over the window in tip toes, trying to see if I am okay from there. How sweet- *coughs*
"Are you okay?" He whisper-yells.
"Yeah" I said and fake smiled hiding my pain.
Nothing big, just that my whole body including my butt hurts.
"So I have to go" I said and grab my camera and a small notebook from the nightstand, just in case I get bored.
I tip toe to the kitchen and grab a water bottle because I am thirsty. I tip toe again to front door and open it. I take out my bicycle from the side of the house. I get on the bicycle, put all my stuff on the basket, and start paddling down the street.
Then I hear a bell ring behind me. I slow down and a black bicycle swooshes beside me and takes U turn and parks beside me.
"So this is how sneak out? Impressive" Shawn said.
"I am this close.." I said, putting my thumb and my forefinger as close as I could, "... to call the police because weirdly, you always appear where I am" I said. He laughs.
"It's not because I want to, and it's definitely not coincidence, it's fate honey" he said.
"I don't believe in fate or in true love or all that stupid shit" I said.
