School is hell. College is hard. Post-graduation is hard as hell.
So maybe Jeongguk had thought that doing a post-graduation course would be easier because he was already graduated.
"The first semester will feel like a revision to you." His interviewer had told him once Jeongguk told him how he already knew how to use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Bullshit. Total and complete bullshit.Perhaps the dude was scared Jeongguk would back off if he knew how hard it would be already in the first semester or maybe he overestimated little Jeon Jeongguk.
Either way the boy was suffering now and he had only been on the curse for two months.
It is true that the first two weeks weren't hard. It was indeed mostly revising to him because c'mon people you really don't know how to use the selection tool on Photoshop, or the layers on Illustrator, or even worse you people really can't just open a new document on InDesign? Amateurs.
But after the professor explained the basic, he went full on hard mode and shit Jeongguk didn't know that much.
He learned how to use the programs and mostly knew his way around, but Professor Park used all the short cuts and Jeongguk's memory is awful for short cuts, plus how could he know there were so many somewhat hidden tools on these goddamn programs.
But that wasn't the hard part really. Even if Jeongguk wasn't an expert on the programs he worked it out perfectly fine and still managed to help Taehyung out if the boy needed.
The hard thing here was that four weeks into the course professor Park opened Dreamweaver before his eyes and made Jeongguk want to cry.He liked doing layouts for websites and apps but actually doing the codification for it was his number one nightmare. He would wake up at night trembling because his brain would be thinking about opening new divs on that dreadful program.
For his surprise though, Professor Park wouldn't be teaching him how to create the sites using the program. He would teach the class how to create the sites using pure and raw codification.
And fuck Jeongguk sucked at it.
Even though he sucked at it, he was somewhat loving that damn class.
From the time he arrived at college on Thursday morning until lunch time he would be having confusing HTML5/ CSS3 classes with professor Park and wishing he was having the familiar Photoshop/ Illustrator/ InDesign classes he had almost every Tuesday - the program his professor teaches them depends on the guy's mood and Jeongguk finds that really odd but he'll roll with it.
But almost every Thursday afternoon he would stay at college to have private tutoring classes with no one other than Kim Taehyung, because the guy may not know how to use master pages on InDesign but he sure knows how to work his magic with HTML5 codification.
Taehyung did a small HTML5/ CSS3 class before college because he was curious about it and now the boy was almost as good at it as Professor Park. Okay Jeongguk is exaggerating but Taehyung is amazing at it.
Jeongguk hated the codes, he absolutely hated it, but he liked spending time with Taehyung. He liked it so much he was getting worried with it.
"Okay so now you only need to remember to write the name of the image exactly as it is saved on your folder, otherwise this won't work." Taehyung told him.
They were sitting at the back of lab4, the one that was always opened for the students who wished to study overtime. It was crazy how even the computer lab destined for studies had iMacs on it.
