After receiving the text from his boyfriend Jeongguk could barely form a proper thought inside his head.

He knows he tends to overthink, but in that moment this could not even be tagged as overthink. It was a whole new level of overthinking, his mind was about to explode inside his head and this was too much and absolutely not necessary, yet he couldn't stop it.

Jimin tried to talk to him for about five minutes and after seeing that he was just unable to elaborate a sentence, Jeongguk simply tossed his cellphone to his friend, so he could understand what had just happened.

Right after Jimin finished reading the texts, the older decided to take upon himself the task of replying to Taehyung, what went stupidly unknown to Jeongguk.

The younger just realized his friend had sent a text to his boyfriend when Jimin gave Jeongguk his phone back and the younger felt it vibrate on his hand again.

He first read the texts his friend had sent to Taehyung and Jeongguk was going to kill Jimin.

JK:

on my way

miss u too

TaeTae:

oh great!!

"What the fuck Jimin?!" Jeongguk screamed.

"You weren't replying neither me nor him, I needed to do something." The older tried to reason with his friend. "You couldn't just leave him on read."

"Hmm yeah I could." Jeongguk said.

Jimin shook his head and got up from the couch. "You need to stop pretending nothing happened and ignoring it and go over to talk to him."

Jeongguk retreated further into the couch, in hope he could merge with it and disappear from the face of the earth. "Please don't make me do that."

The other sighed. "Kookie don't you miss him? Don't you want to spend time with him?"

"Of course I do, but... but what if after thinking things through he decided this won't work? What if he ends up breaking up with me?" Jeongguk was just trying to spend some more days still being Taehyung's boyfriend. He knew this was silly but he couldn't find in him the will to fight against this.

"Did you even read his text you idiot?" Jimin told him, frustrated. "He said that he misses you, he won't break up with you."

"Do you think he will just pretend it never happened?" The younger asked.

Jimin took a while to consider that. "I'm not sure. I know you two must talk about it but I don't know Tae enough to know how he will react."

"Call Yoongi-hyung, he will know." Jeongguk said in an unreason way to try buying him some time.

"I'm not calling Yoongi to ask him about this, quit talking and go grab your shit so you can go over to Tae's loft." Jimin grabbed Jeongguk's arm and pulled the younger off the couch.

"Jimin please-" He was about to begin begging, but his friend interrupted him.

"Don't you dare!" Jimin grabbed Jeongguk's shoulder and made the younger face him. "You are more than welcome to say over for as long as you like, you know that, but I can't have you avoiding the shit you have to deal with. I know that you were giving him and yourself some time, but you were for sure ready to deal with this by Monday and I know it and as Taehyung seems ready to do it now too you better rush your ass off here right now or so help me God."

The younger gulped, nodded and ran off to Jimin's bedroom to grab his things.

Once he was back at the living room his friend was not even there, Jimin must've seen him through the windows and honked his car, making the younger jump.
