Jeongguk had spent the last three days at Jimin's place.
Right after his friend took him to his house, Jimin did all in his power to take Jeongguk's mind off his worries. They ate a lot, watched movies, TV shows, anime, listened to music and played videogame.
The younger had to go over his house to grab some things on Monday because he was planning to spend the whole week at his friend's.
He had figured that he needed to let Taehyung have all the time he needed, therefore he didn't even texted his boyfriend during the days he was at Jimin's. Partly not only to give Taehyung some time but also because he was scared to talk to the older.
It was all working out great and a bit messy, but that's life at Park Jimin's household.
Jimin's parents were out of the house during the day because of work, what meant they had the place to themselves, so after spending the whole Sunday evening and the entirety of Monday inside Jimin's bedroom, the older decided to do something different on Tuesday.
He decided to drag Jeongguk along with his product design enthusiast self and get the younger to help him along while he did his glass fiber wall watch.
He was a bit far with it, he had done the styrofoam piece, that was shaped as an owl, had covered the entire thing with newspaper and glue and all the other shit necessary. The piece was even painted in a bright blue and ready to be used to make the mold.
Jimin had already glued the piece on a piece of wood and Jeongguk only had to help him to do the other steps necessary before they could cover it with the pieces of glass fiber.
It was not due to their impeccable memory that they knew how to do that, given the fact they did it at college once. It was due to the fact they had it all written down because after every project they always needed to deliver pictures and the process written down to their professor.
So that's why they both spent a good part of their Tuesday at Jimin's living room – covered in newspaper all over – with the report opened while they tried to follow the steps to make Jimin's watch.
Jeongguk helped the older to pass five layers of wax on top of the styrofoam piece, then three layers of release agent and they put around the edges some plasticine. After the release agent was dry the piece was finally ready to be covered with the orange gel coat and after that they covered the entire thing with pieces of glass fiber to turn it into the mold they needed.
As it needed to dry off before they took the styrofoam piece out of it and used the mold to actually make the watch, they decided to settle for the day and let it dry during the rest of the afternoon and night.
Therefore they spent the rest of the day back in Jimin's room, binge watching another random TV show.
On Wednesday Jeongguk had woken up ready to get back at their wall watch. He was ready to fill the mold with glass fiber – that honestly he was still wondering where the hell Jimin bought – but before he could even have breakfast, Jimin was telling him that they would be doing a different thing today because his order had finally arrived earlier in the morning.
The younger was worried with what he meant with the order and was properly taken aback once, after they had breakfast, Jimin dragged him to his backyard and Jeongguk saw a cement mixer in the middle of it.
Jeongguk didn't even know what to say.
"I'm making a little cement bench for the backyard." Jimin told him, walking closer to what Jeongguk could only assume was the mold for the bench.
Jimin brought it closer and Jeongguk faced a tiny ass wooden mold for what could only be a tiny ass bench. The mold was already done and filled with the iron mesh with the plastic spacers and Jeongguk internally sighed in relief, he would cry if he was dragged into helping Jimin to make that, it was the worst.
