Together is just another word. That sometimes means too much, while in others means too little. Together can merely mean "at the same time", what honestly doesn't mean a lot, but it can also mean "with each other", "combined" and once you put into a context about a relationship it means a great deal. It means that those people who are together are combined with each other. They are united, they are allied, and they are connected.

Forever in another hand seems to always mean too much. It means "for all time", "for an extremely long time". It seems to be such a long time when you think about it, after all how can one measure how long it really is forever? How can someone be sure that they want something forever, if human beings change their opinions so often and so easily? It seems exaggerated and extravagant when you think about it because it means endlessly, it means always, and it means ever.

Those two words put together mean the greatest deal though. Together forever seems far too much, far too exaggerated, far too extravagant even. Being together forever holds such a weighty meaning, it means those people will be with each other for all time, they'll be combined for an extremely long time. It's honestly too much, too excessive, too extreme.

But it's also exactly what Jeongguk wanted, to be together forever with Taehyung, because that thought may hold all those deeps meanings, but it also doesn't weight as deeply as the younger thought such a thing would. Instead the thought of it made him feel lighter than ever before. Because he really wanted to be united endlessly, allied always and connected for now and ever with Taehyung. That's really all he wanted and he was sure this would never change.

Three years later 

 Jeongguk was sitting at the desk at his work place, finishing the final touches on the page of the book he was designing.

It was a five hundred pages book about some sci-fi TV show he never heard about before this job.

He was glad to be the designer in charge of the editing of most pages though, because the TV show required tons of space images and he was living for it.

The main reason why he even got lots of pages to design was because he was the most excited employee once his boss told the design group about this new job.

He felt like an excited teenager all over again as he blabbed to his boss how he loved space and was looking forward to work on this job.

So now he was working late on the office for his own fault, because life is a bitch.

He should've been home about two hours prior and Taehyung was for sure about to call him any time soon, wondering why the last text he received from Jeongguk was a quick gonna be late, order chinese once i tell you im leaving work two hours ago.

As he saved the file for possibly the five hundred time in the last hour - you can't ever be too save with this kind of thing, nothing is worse than having InDesign freeze then shutting down out of nowhere and losing all the work you had just done - his thoughts were proven right, once his phone began to vibrate rather violently on top of his table, making a lot of noise.

Perhaps it was only because the place was empty and he was the only one there, so it was dead silent apart from the music playing in his earphones - he works way better while listening to music.
