After Hoseok's party, classes were back and to summarize, it was a whole mess.
Jeongguk was thrown into a bunch of assignments, tests and projects right in the first week back and he truly felt like the break he had didn't even happen because by the end of the week he was already so tired it seemed he had been back on classes for two entire months.
He and Taehyung ended up having to join a group of four other students in order to create a project and they had a meeting for it every week. Jeongguk hated those meetings with everything he has.
His classmates weren't all that bad, they even ended up with that Jeonghan guy that already knew Taehyung so that was relatively nice, but they just didn't seem able to focus in order to do the project.
It kind of infuriated Jeongguk how even his boyfriend would lose himself into stupid conversations and forget about the project.
Because of that they ended up having to meet every day for a week to catch up on lost time before the deadline and on that week Jeongguk was close to murdering them all.
For his luck Taehyung came to his senses – after Jeongguk pretty much yelled at his face one day after another meeting that lead them nowhere- and managed to drag the others back to their senses as well.
Jeongguk doesn't know how he does it, but Taehyung can manage to capture people's attention and force them to stop blabbing in order to focus on the project. Whatever was the reason behind it, Jeongguk was just really glad for it and relieved that he didn't have to end up fighting his boyfriend in order to get the project done.
Their project definitely wasn't the best of the class – after all it was done pretty much just on three days instead of a month like the others –but they got a decent grade so Jeongguk saw that as a win.
His life became a mess of going to classes, staying over to finish several projects or to study at the library, occasionally going to Taehyung's loft to sleep over because he needed a break, spending his weekends finishing other projects and studying for other subjects, going to Jimin's house every other week to cry out for help – in which Jimin would sigh deeply but would end up helping the younger, bless his heart –and seeing Yugyeom every now and then because he missed his friend.
Time was passing fast and Jeongguk could barely take a hold on it, every time he stopped long enough to analyze his life he would just be amazed at how long it had been since the beginning of the year, since he met Taehyung, since they started to date and even since his break ended.
His curse was coming to an end, graduation was just around the corner and Jeongguk was properly stressed over everything.
That's why on a random Friday night he just tossed his stuff far away from him, after getting extremely annoyed at the fact Photoshop was being a bitch, and called his boyfriend.
"Tae please shine a light in my life because I'm about to lose my damn mind." He cried out dramatically as soon as Taehyung picked up his phone.
The older chuckled. "Were you still doing Mr. Moon project? I told you to take a break tonight, I'm afraid you'll end up deleting Photoshop from your laptop if you keep getting annoyed at it every second."
"This shit is testing me and my patience is fucking gone!" He exclaimed. "I'm not going to only delete Photoshop; I'll set fucking fire to my entire laptop."
"That wouldn't be nice, you'd lose all you progress so far and have no place to watch anime." Taehyung replied, calmly, as if Jeongguk wasn't basically yelling at him thought the phone.
Jeongguk was about to scream something back, with some curse words in the middle, but he stopped himself, taking just a second to take a breath.
"I fucking hate the fact you have a point." He grumbled under his breath, annoyed at the fact his boyfriend got him once he mentioned anime.
