Chapter 2: Out of Gas

SHIRO'S POV

Thank God! We successfully reached my car. The girl named Sofia was in the shotgun seat while her best friend is in the backseat. Right, the name's Shiro Yamamoto! I'm slowly getting used of girls from AGA bombarding me, but I guess I'll never get comfortable kung yung mga flesh eating monsters ang hahabol sa akin. I'm currently driving to our meeting place and I kinda enjoyed the silence but it makes me uncomfortable at the same time.

"You. What's your name again?" I asked her in a bossy tone. She looked at me and raises her eyebrow. 

"Why would I tell you?" She answered me.

"Sofie! Don't be rude!" Kinurot naman ni Claude sa tagiliran si Sofia. Napangisi naman ako.

"Sofia Park. Happy?" Pagkatapos niyang sabihin sa akin yon ay ibinalik niya ang tingin niya sa bintana.

"Anong height mo?" I unconsciously asked her. Nakita ko naman siyang tumingin sa akin ng masama habang yung kasama niya nag pipigil ng tawa.

"J-jugulle?! Claude, shut it!" sabi ni Sofia at hinampas ang kaibigan niya hita. 

"Anong jugulle?" tanong ko sa kanya. 

"Do you want to die?" pagsawsaw nung kaibigan niya. Sinamaan ko naman to ng tingin.

"Oh, chill! I translated it for ya, bruh! The name's Claude De Guzman, by the way!" ngising sabi niya sa akin at inilahad niya ang kamay niya para makipag shakehands. Syempre being the gentleman I am, nakipag kamay ako sa kanya. Nag f-focus ako sa pag d-drive ngayon ng biglang may tumawid na isang babae at hindi ako nakapreno.

"Shit!" I shouted out of my frustrations. 

"W-what happened?!" Natatarantang tanong sa akin ni Sofia. 

"S-shirimasen! Argh!" napapalo naman ako sa manubela. 

"Watashi wa baka desu! Baka! Baka! Baka!" I shouted and face palmed.

"Ha? B-baka? Walang baka dito, Shiro?" Nagtatakang sabi ni Claude. Tinignan ko siya through the mirror and I just sighed. 

"I hit something. No scratch that! I hit someone!" sabi ko. Napatakip naman ng bibig si Sofia. 

"Should I go and check?" Claude suggested. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. Of course, I can't do that! She's a girl and I'm the only boy here. I am supposed to protect the both of them.

"What? Not a good idea?" Claude added. Habang si Sofia tahimik lang. 

"No. I'll go check. Stay here." sabi ko then combed my hair out of frustrations. 

"Aiii...jinkusu" sabi ko at binuksan ang pintuan ng kotse. I slowly approach the girl I hit. It was crouching. 

"Miss, you alright?" I said while patting her shoulder.

"Are you hurt somewhere? I can help yo-" 

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" O shit. I couldn't even finish what I am saying when I heard her roared at me. The attacked me and I luckily dodged it. I immediately went inside the car to avoid the girl. 

"Y-you alright?" Sofia asked me while I'm panting so hard. I saw the girl who's trying to destroy the window of my car. 

"Y-yeah. I'm alright. Just startled."  I said while calming myself and started the engine. 

"That was a close call, Shiro. You sure you're okay?" Claude asked and I just nodded. I feel exhausted. 

"Now, now, we need to be more extra careful. We can't trust other people." dagdag pa nito.
