Chapter Aesthetics:
🌸🌸🌸
I walk to Scarlet and Natalie's dorm room and when I get there I knock a million times and wait for them to open up but nobody does. Groaning, I kick the door hard with my foot which was the dumbest thing ever because I stubbed my toe so hard I had to sit down for a couple minutes.
They must be out which sucks because right now all I really need are my best friends. I take my phone out of my pocket to find it dead. I was supposed to plug it in at the apartment, but then. But then his mother came over. His mother- he has parents. I had so conveniently forgotten about them, of course they'd never agree to us happening. He would be an outcast, I can't let that happen, here was another reason why I can't tell him how I feel.
I can't let him distance himself from his family, I can't let him be shunned. He's the perfect son, always has been and if I stand between him and his goal to always be a good son, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I'm not a homewrecker, that's not me.
Standing up, I dust myself off and start walking out of the hostel building. It's freezing outside and as soon as I step onto the pavement it starts to snow. Little specks of it land on my nose and I can't help but smile, snow in New York was something I'd always wanted to experience. Soon enough, the snow comes down in full force, flurries everywhere.
"Finally," I hear someone whisper behind me and I swivel around. "It's freezing let's go somewhere indoors,"
"What are you doing here?" I ask him, pulling my scarf tighter around me, trying to protect myself from the cold.
"You thought I'd let you get away again?" Seid leans in close and grabs my cold hands, holding them in between his, he blows on them trying to warm them up for me.
"How'd you know where to find me?" I ask, ignoring him.
"You obviously went to Nat and Scar's room but you didn't know they're in New Jersey with Marrs and Jared,"
"Oh," I look down, flushed, "Why didn't you go?"
"I was waiting for you to come back home," he replied without missing a beat.
"Right," I murmur and take my hands out of his. "Where's your mom?"
"I don't know," I start to walk and he walks beside me.
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"She said if I was going to remain friends with you she's gonna cut all ties with me," he answers.
"What?" That's what I thought would happen if we got together. She's gonna punish him for being just friends with me?
"Yeah," he chuckles as if this is all so funny, "I told her if that's how she's gonna be she needs to leave,"
