When we told everyone chaos, confusion and downright madness ensued in the coffee shop.
"What do you mean?"
"So you're both dating?"
"I saw this coming,"
"You owe me a hundred bucks,"
"A hundred bucks?" I looked at Jared in shock as he wiggled his eyebrows at me.
"We made a bet," Marrs groaned.
"On us?" Seid asked, clearly he found this situation amusing.
"A good bet," Jared says and grins as Marrs hands him a hundred dollar bill.
"Wait so you guys are together?" Scarlet asked looking back and forth- from me to Seid.
"Yeah?" Seid asked looking down at me.
"Yeah?" I asked back and he laughs.
"You get to decide babe," My breath hitches at his choice of words.
"Don't call me that,"
"Why not?" he frowned.
"Because... it's weird."
"Shut up babe," Weird- but God, I could get used to this.
"Hello?" Natalie waved a hand in front of us, "We're still here and we're still very confused."
"It just happened okay?" I whined.
"Love doesn't just happen," Natalie said.
"It's not love-" I said,
"Yes it does,-" Seid said at the same time and I looked at him awkwardly, feeling guilty as hell.
"So which is it?" Jared asked and I intently studied my fingers, I felt terrible for putting Seid in this situation.
"I'm in love with her," Seid said matter of factly.
"So you're both a thing now?" Scarlet asked and I looked up at Seid as he looked down at me and we nodded at the same time. This was just as confusing for us as it was for them. What were we?
"You guys are being too lovey dovey," Jared gets up, "I'm gonna puke."
"You guys are too cute," Khadija added, "I've been waiting for this to happen for so long now that I can't believe this is real life."
"How come I never knew Seid's been crushing on my best friend for ages?" Scarlet wondered out loud.
"Love is invisible," Marrs grabbed her hand.
"Stop," Jared groaned and walked away.
"The day Jared settles down with a girl, I'm gonna shave my head," Marrs said and we all erupt in laughter, imagining Marrs bald.
