Hello readers, writers, and most things in between! I understand that my first three were pretty short, but they will be a lot longer, ESPECIALLY my next one. In the future, they may go back to being short, but I'm hoping a majority of them are longer.

"Jin-hyung, are you alright?"

I sniffled and nodded. "I've just never seen food prepared so beautifully."

The man who sat opposite from me laughed. Namjoon reached across the table to grab my hand. "I knew you'd love this place."

My face tinted pink. I didn't expect him to do that on a first date.

Yes, our very first date. I had always liked Namjoon, at first as a band member when we first met, then a close friend and brother, and finally I realized how I actually felt about him. I had kept my feelings to myself for about a year now, without any idea that he felt the same way. When we both discovered how each other truly felt, Namjoon waited a little while before asking me out. It had to be set back, considering the band was too busy with a new album release. But now, with a short amount of freedom, I'm finally able to go on a date with the man I love.

Love.

I love him.

I hadn't told him yet. It's too soon. It's literally our first date. "I want to thank you for asking me to dinner."

"It's my pleasure. Truly." He flashed his adorable dimple smile that makes butterflies form in my stomach.

We conversed some more, but there wasn't much I didn't know about him, so it wasn't like I could ask him anything. Once we finished, our waiter (I think his name was Jaebum) handed us our check and took our empty plates. Namjoon opened the check to look at the price, his eyes widening a little, but shrugged it off. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. He looked inside. Suddenly, his eyes grew wide with worry.

"Joonie? What's wrong?"

He looked up at me. "My card isn't in here. And my cash is gone."

I blinked. What? He had at least a hundred before we left. I saw him put it in there himself. "Okay, don't worry. We'll figure something else out."

He ran a hand through his hair. "Alright, I hate to ask this, but how about you pay and I'll pay you back."

I raised an eyebrow and smiled sympathetically. "Joonie, honey, don't you remember?"

The expression on his face told me he did not.

"You forced me to leave my wallet at home, insisting you'd take care of it."

He groaned and dropped his head on the table. He raised it again, glancing at me with guilty eyes. "Jin, I'm so sorry." He rested his face on his hands. "I wanted this night to be perfect."

How is someone so adorable? "Namjoon."

His attention returned to me, and I took that chance to smile at him. "I promise you," I stated, never breaking eye contact and grabbing both of his hands, "that everything is fine. As a matter of fact, this is one of the best nights of my life. You wanna know why?"

His gaze was confused but had a flicker of hope in it. "Why?"

"Because I got to spend it with you."

He smiled with red cheeks. "Jin..." He rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand. "I can't tell you what you mean to me." A mischievous look sparkled in his eyes as he leaned forward. "But I can show you."
