"Hyung, it's not a big deal."
The look he sent my way was not one I wanted. "Namjoon, you aren't staying behind."
I tilted my head and stepped up to him. "Jin." I ran my hands down his arms until I reached his hands. "There's only eight seats left on the plane. And there's no way in hell I'm letting my members go anywhere without at least two bodyguards."
He pressed his lips together in a firm line. "Let me stay with you."
I chuckled softly. "Please. The kids can't go anywhere without their mom. Remember when we lost Tae that one time."
The memory raced through his mind, making him cringe. "Let's just wait for the next flight."
"We've been over this. The next flight with enough seats for all of us is in two days and we have a tight schedule to keep up with. Look, you'll all be fine."
He squeezed my hands, his eyes zoned out as he stared at my chest. "It's not us I'm worried about," he mumbled.
"Jin, look at me."
He did.
I slowly leaned forward to softly press my lips to his forehead. "I'll be fine. I have tons of security. Plus Manager-hyung is here with me."
He was still unsure. "B-But Joonie, I-"
The voice that rang through the air cut him off. "Last call for the 8:15 flight to Seoul. Last call for the 8:15 flight to Seoul."
"That's you. The kids already boarded. Time for you to go."
His familiar gaze scanned my features. He said nothing.
Nothing verbal anyway.
Grabbing my collar and pulling me close, he roughly pressed his lips to mine. I placed my hands on his waist, calming him down a little. The kiss turned soft and slow.
I reluctantly pulled away. Every single time our lips touched, it was better than the last time. "Okay, you really need to go before I make you stay."
"Promise me you'll be okay."
"I promise. It's only one day, Jin. I'll see you tomorrow."
After a few other goodbyes, he got on the plane.
When he left my sight, it was like there was a gaping hole left in my heart. I love him so much that life has so much more meaning when he's by my side. He amazes me every day.
I remember when I discovered he truly loved me back. It was completely accidental, yet it felt like it was destined to happen. It started out as any other day. I went through my morning routine, only an addition was added.
I walked in on a fresh-out-of-the-shower Jin.
And he had no towel to cover...well, you know.
My face turned as red as Jimin's hair in our Dope music video. I apologized profusely and turned around to leave, and being me I smacked my head against the wall and fell on my behind. "Ow~"
"Oh my god, Joonie, are you okay?"
I slowly opened my eyes, still wincing from the pain in my head. Jin was on his hands and knees, leaning over me and staring at me with a worried look. His cheeks were pink too.
My eyes popped open wide. I quickly sat up and kept my back to him. "S-Sorry, Seokjin-ah. I-I didn't know you were in here."
"It's honestly not a big deal, Namjoon. It happens." He paused. "You can turn around now. I'm decent."
Is it bad I wish he wasn't?
