"Hyung, come play with us!"
I have a strong urge to bang my head against the door I stand in front of. After I successfully retrieve my keys from my pocket, I struggle to calm myself down so that I don't drop the phone I hold between my ear and my shoulder while unlocking my apartment. "For the hundredth time, NO!"
"Pleeeeeeaaassseeee?!" three voices cry out at once.
Aish, these kids wont leave me alone. I step into my apartment and shut the door with my foot. "Guys, please. I told you that I'm busy."
"Bullshit!" I hear Yoongi say, making gasps erupt on the other line along with many protests at his cursing.
I chuckle softly. "Plans with myself, I mean. I bought a few new books and want to get started." After dropping my keys onto a table, I head toward my bedroom. "Besides, I'm still tired from Taehyung's party a few nights ago."
"That party was lit and you know it, Namjoon-hyung!"
"Never said it wasn't, Tae."
Jimin adds, "Well, how about we all come over and we can watch a movie together?"
I flop lazily onto my bed. I know how persistent my friends can be, so there's really no point in any attempt to get them to leave me alone. "One movie?"
"Just one. You can pick which one too!"
Groans follow his statement. "No, Jiminie!" Hoseok cries. "He'll make us watch something boring like last time!"
"Hey!" I yell.
Jungkook says, "Did you really think we would like a documentary on praying mantises? Taehyung is still scarred from when the female bit off the male's head."
"Don't talk about it!"
"Okay, enough," I tell them, changing the direction of the conversation. "I'll pick a real movie, one we all like. But only one. Then you guys are going home. Deal?"
"Deal!"
"Awesome!"
"Whatever."
I'm pretty sure that last one was Yoongi. "Hyung, do you have popcorn?" Jimin asks.
I smirk. "I should. But then Jungkook had his two day tv marathon here and ate it all."
The youngest awkwardly laughs. "Hehe...s-sorry 'bout that, Namjoon-hyung..."
"Someone else have any?"
Hoseok suggests, "We'll pick some up on the way. Bye, Namjoonie! See you soon."
"Bye, hyung."
The youngest three stay on the line for the next ten minutes, arguing about some kind of video game. Or, at least I think so. Once Jungkook mentioned his high score and the other two started to raise their voices, I abandoned my phone in my room and left to go get a glass of water. They could go on for hours, and no one has succeeded in stopping them completely.
As I pass a window to search through the movies I own, I spot a moving truck leave the apartment parking lot. Odd, I think. Did someone move out? Must be. There's no way someone would move in.
A loud shout from the hallway makes me freeze.
"Odeng! Odeng, where are you?!"
Odeng? I laugh out loud to myself. What a strange name for a person.
I sit down on my knees in front of the television stand and open one of its compartments to scan over the selection of films. I find a few options, but soon my mind wanders. Wait...did someone actually move into the apartment building?
