An hour or two later on Paul's 22nd Birthday...
Dressing Evie in a cute little homemade dress and white patent shoes. Louise presented the babe and herself for inspection in the living room.
John immediately removed the infant from Louise's arms, handed her off to Paul then carted Lou back in the bedroom by the elbow.
"You can't wear that Louise"
Louise crossed her arms, her t-shirt with 'I Luv The Beatles' strained pretty tight as was the design and her denim cut-off shorts showed off how long her legs actually were.
"Oh, but I can"
"No, those are too short Luv and that's too tight" John nodded at the shorts and pointed a finger rudely at her chest.
Louise looked down upon herself she couldn't see an issue, the shorts hugged her thighs high-ish but modesty remained intact. Her shirt was one of over a thousand - million or more sold at their concerts each and every night. She turned about to check her hair in the mirror, not bothered in the slightest about John's perceived problem with her clothing. "I will be wearing these today John"
"No, change right away" John ordered as he prowled about the room for her suitcase, flinging it open, sorting through her few items of clothing for something more suitable, like a nun's smock.
Again, with the ordering!
She would show him, Lou thought idly to herself. "Off you go then, I suppose, you big bully. Let me change for you in privacy"
John smiled like he had won, little did he know that he was about to get caught in her rapid and fiery retribution. She uttered "Bloody prude" after him as he took off into the living room.
"What's the hold-up then?" Richy inquired as he dropped his bag of cosies and towel on the seat by the door "We're all ready to go"
"I just had to make Lou tweak her ensemble" John turned and through Evie's nappy bag on the pile that was steadily growing by the main door of the suite.
"She looked ok. Kinda sweet with the pigtails and the shirt; nice colour too" Richard replied with a smile. Lou did look fine, she looked modern, fresh, bubble-gum sweet and if he had any prior knowledge of Louise he knew she would be peeved about John ordering her to change clothing. "You probably shouldn't have told her to change mate"
The clock ticked, the cars arrived and still Louise Lennon never appeared.
"Doors locked" John banged as the other three lads plus Mal, Neil and Brian all stood rolling their eyes at Johns bashing of the door "Louise! Stop sulking! Get out here, we're leaving NOW"
"That should do it" John grumbled, he was a bit grumpy at her arriving early spoiling the party so to speak but he really didn't want her missing the trip today.
The main door was open Mal juggling bags and headed off down the hall, John juggling Evie, Paul checking his teeth in the mirror, Richy juggling his sunglasses in one hand and a bottle of coca-cola in the other. George appeared juggling a huge bag of lollies and two family share packets of crisps (not to share, of course).
Brian clapped his hand, they were off.
Louise was out across the room and at the elevator jamming her finger on the lift open button before John could say 'Holy hell' and charge after her.
"I changed my top, just like you ordered Johnny so shush up or you'll upset the children" Louise watched as Paul and Rings magical appeared beside her with open mouths. She continued tapping the button without turning to look at John "Flies in Australia boys, shut your cake holes" George just rolled his eyeballs and stepped around the lot of them to be first in the elevator. John had hold of Louise by her arm. George tried pressing the door close button before they all could get in to escape the forthcoming chaos.
