Yeba by Kiss Daniel.
Ifeoma heaved a deep sigh as soon as Jeffery was out of her sight. She needed to do something on her own, especially something that dealt with a girl like her. Jeffery was just too clingy for her liking sometimes. She lifted her hand to knock on the gate but gasped as an arm snaked around her waist.
Instinct kicked in and she tried forcing herself around to see who was holding her. "Just stay still. Please." He whispered in her ear. "I wanted to do this when I saw you but you wouldn't even let me stay too close to you."
When was he going to get tired? Ifeoma thought as she tried to break his strong grip around her. "Can you let me go now Jeffery?"
"Not yet. Just one more minute."
"That's it Jeffery!" She exclaimed and stepped on his foot. Hard. "I thought you had gone already."
"Ow! Ow!" He groaned as he cradled his hurt foot gently. "I had gone already but I still felt empty and I never feel that way after seeing you." He relayed as he dropped his feet to the ground.
"You just couldn't let the way you left at first be romantic, could you?"
"How do you mean romantic?"
"I mean you saying 'I love you' and blowing me a kiss would have been a perfect and romantic way to end a scene if we were in a book or drama. But no, you just had to come back." Ifeoma complained.
"Well we aren't in a book and I just couldn't resist coming back. I missed you already."
"Sure you did." Ifeoma stated mockingly.
"But I didn't know you saw that as romantic." He raised an eyebrow at her while giving her his famous smirk. His sour mood from leaving her without getting any display of affection, was already lifting up and making way for his flirty attitude.
"Forget it Jeffery. You are the worst person to say these kind of things to."
"I know."
"What are you still waiting for?" She gestured at his still standing figure.
"How do you mean?"
"I mean that you should start going now." Ifeoma squinted at him through slitted eyes. "And don't tell me you don't feel like. I'm so not listening to any excuses."
"Okay then. I don't have an excuse, I just have a reason why I don't want to go. But I could change that reason if you are ready to compromise."
"God why are you always like this?" Ifeoma mumbled angrily. "So what compromise is it this time?"
"You have to give me a kiss."
"How did I know that was the exact rubbish you were going to say?"
"You know me too well. Now give me what I want."
"Jeffery can't you just go without making me do this? You know if I don't go inside the house, I'll have to spend the night outside because there's no way I'm going inside with you by my side or you still standing here."
