I spent the next week listening to Mel complain over the phone about the sorry note and I had barely written anything on my blanket sheet of paper. I have nothing to apologize about. If he hadn't of hit me or done anything else, then this would've never happened. Zane caused all of this. One Week done, another to go.

I sat at home all week, with my laptop out beside me while the TV played in the background. This past week has been nothing but a blow of boring. Wake up at ten am, sit around and think about my life. My under eye circles stand out even more than usual, even after all the sleeping in I still look tired and resemble a zombie off The Walking Dead.

I hear the distant chime of the doorbell. I shift off the couch and I walk quietly to the front door. Everyone is at school since it's Monday. Who would come knocking at the door at this time?

I stand at the door and I try to hear who it is, but I can't make out who is at the door. I grab the door handle and I slowly open the door. I look through the gap and I see Jayden. Out of all people, he is here?

"What are you doing here? Aren't you meant to be at school?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest.

"No, I hate Monday's." Jayden says blankly.

"Okay. Well.. Do you want to come in?" I ask and Jayden nods. He must want to tell me something, why else would he be here? I think about asking him how on earth he knows where I live, but it's a bit too late now.

"I needed to talk to you." Jayden warns and I nod, walking into the kitchen as he follows me.

"What a drink?" I ask and Jayden shakes his head, seating himself at the kitchen table. I sit down in front of him at the table. "What did you come to tell me about?" I ask.

'It's Zane. I may have saved you, but he is after you and me. He had put stuff...." Jayden starts and he stops talking.

" I saw the locker area..." Jayden mumbles.

"What did he do?" I ask and Jayden doesn't say anything. I get up from the kitchen table and I grab my converse from nearby.

"We can't just go there. You're on suspension." Jayden says following me.

"I don't care." I say slipping on my shoes and opening the front door. I grab the keys to my car and head outside, Jayden closing the front door behind him.

"Oh nice, daddy bought you a car, huh?" Jayden teases, I shoot him a glare and he doesn't say anything else.

I unlock the car and I jump in, Jayden hopping into the passenger's seat. I drive out from the driveway, ignoring Jayden as he tries to convince me not to go school, but he soon gives up when we pull up into the school carpark. I quickly jump out of the car and Jayden soon follows, locking the car with the click of a button on my car's key.

I push the glass doors open and I speed walk down the hallway, trying to avoid the glares from the women at the office and students.

I storm down the hallway and into the locker foyer. I hear Jayden running after me, panting.

I reach the locker foyer, seeing everything that Jayden was talking about.
