I attempt to call my father numerous times, but he doesn't answer his phone once. I begin to question where he is since he would've come rushing home after the incident last night. The police tried to call him, but they only managed to leave a voice mail.

So, Millie, Jayden and I decided, to find where he is. Lucky for us, we can use Find My Friends, and pray it finds his location. Not long after, is location pops up, and he's about an hour away from us.

"We should go there. See what he's doing." Millie says, noting down the address.

"Alright, let's go. Morgan, I'll drive." Jayden says, and I nod, not even bothering to put up a fight and demand I drive. I'm in no stable state to drive, all because of my increasing anxiety. Soon enough, we're in my car and on the freeway to my father's supposed location. I sit in the passenger seat, fidgeting nervously with my fingers, completely unsure of how we're going to approach my father, or whoever is at this location.

Not long after, we're slowly pulling up a few houses down from the location. The area is wealthy. Big houses tower over us and all three of us look out of place in this area.

"Shit, how the hell are we gonna approach this? Just knock on the door and ask where our father is?" Millie asks, anxiety-riddled in her voice.

"Let's just knock on the door and see what is going on," I reply, walking towards the house.

"Wait!" Millie shouts and Jayden and I turn around to her. "I'm so nervous I feel like I'm going to vomit," Millie says.

I roll my eyes at her dramatic ass, "come on, you're going to be fine. Just bite your lip and breathe through your nose. Drama queen."

Millie sighs and after a few seconds joins Jayden and I as we walk to the house. I push open the large gate and slowly walk up to the front door. Whatever is going on, we are about to find out.

I push the doorbell and stand around at the door as I hear it echo through the house. The distant clatter of footsteps makes its way to the door, and the door opens within a second.

The door opens, and I see a very familiar face.

My mother.
