I hit my alarm clock quickly with the swing of my hand. It shuts off after about ten failed hits, but I finally manage even after falling to the floor. It's only six am. I need to get up as early as possible on the weekends to swim in the river just down the road. I finally open my eyes and get off my bedroom floor and I quickly wash my face to try and wake me up. Quietly, I go downstairs and grab some light food before heading out into the early morning. The sun is only beginning to rise, and I take in the cool refreshing air while it lasts. Soon enough it will be burning with heat.
I usually hate getting up early for school, but when it's for a swim in the river I love it. The river is only a short walk away from my house, so I make it to the river in five minutes. The street is dead silent, I can't hear anything besides the distant chirp of birds. The sunrise is creating a beautiful peachy colour and the sun's rays beginning to shine. This is why I love waking up so early, the sunrise and the quietness is always peaceful.
I see the bank and I quickly run down the steep dirt hill trying not slip over any loose rocks underneath my feet. I slip off my clothing with my bikinis underneath and I dive straight into the water. The cool water splashes against my skin and I begin swimming out. I swim out until I finally reach the middle of the river and I Begin floating, feeling the cool water settle beneath me.
I close my eyes and I relax still keeping above the water. Soon enough after about fifteen minutes I hear people shouting and hooting. I open my eyes and I begin swimming over to the shore to see who is making so much noise, so early in the morning. I see after a few strokes that Zane and his group are jumping around at the shore with bottles in their hands and towels around their necks.
"Let's take all our clothes off!" Zane shouts and I can instantly see he is drunk. I try to swim behind a try trying to hide myself from Zane and from his dirty looks. I hide behind a bush sitting on the shore line and I watch Zane and his friends as they take their tops off.
"Morgan, I know you're there. If you want to join you can just say so!" Zane shouts out and I sigh. My hiding place wasn't so good at all. I swim out from the bush and Zane's eyes instantly rake down my body, I shiver at his eyes as he keeps his gaze on my chest.
"Morgan you're looking good today. What are you doing at the river all alone?" Zane asks me, and I almost choke on the water.
"I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing here, drunk?" I ask and Zane swims towards me, his brown eyes locking into mine. I don't know what every girl see's in Zane, he just another dirty creep.
"I partied all night and me and my mates thought we would come and have a swim. I'm sober, I swear." Zane's drunk words fib, and I snort at his words, he slurs slightly which gives it away even more.
"Zane, even drunk people lie." I demand and he rolls his eyes at me. I can see his bloodshot eyes, proving that he's not only drunk, but high as well.
"You have been smoking too, have you?" I ask and Zane doesn't reply. I give him a disgusted look as he attempts to approach me. Zane reeks of alcohol and smoke. I begin to swim away but he swims behind me in the water with a huge smile cast over his face. I finally turn back to look at him and I kick my leg, splashing water at his face. Zane shakes his head from the water hitting his face and he grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him.
I try to swim away, but he keeps a tight grip on my waist. I move my head away from his mouth as his mouth is on my ear, his hot breath making me shiver of disgust. All my strength doesn't match up to him, I could try as hard as I could to escape his grip, but it would be no use.
