[The Mi Yun in this story has no relation to the Mi Yun in 'Underdog']

Mi Yun ran her finger along the serrated edge of the butcher knife, skin peeling off at a shocking pace. Blood in turn dripped onto the floor, a pool of crimson forming against the white marble of the living room. Tears mingled with blood and sweat as she slumped against the kitchen cabinet, the blood oozing slowily but heavily from fresh wounds.

Somehow, Mi Yun had the opinion that, this was a much better reality than breaking up with Chanyeol.

She tugged the blade downwards, cutting the flesh on her lower leg. There would be scars, but why care? Her action resulted in sharp pain that raged throughout her body endlessly, making her pound her fists on the nearby concrete wall, her knuckles bruised within minutes.

And then, she found solace, a way out of all of this. Her father had gone on a fishing trip not too long ago and had brought back a thick nylon rope. She grabbed it, and tied it to the hook usually to hang clothes to dry.

Her vision was blurred now, her tears flowing down her cheeks for what would be the last time. The saltiness of tears would be the last thing she tasted. The last thing she would see....

Mi Yun took the picture of she and Chanyeol off the countertop. Two happy, smiling faces smiled back at her. Chanyeol had his arm around her shoulder and was staring at her lovingly. This was taken at Namsan Tower, right outside the gate of locks. It was the last thing she would see. She got ready a chair and stood on it.

I'm sorry, Chanyeol.

She positioned the noose around her neck, the material rough against the tender skin. She kicked away the chair.

Good bye, world.

Looking at the picture for the last time, she pulled the dangling end of the rope, her airway narrowing, her breath barely audible. And just as she was about to tighten the knot, the world went dark.

Chanyeol burst in seconds later, panting to catch his breath. The click-clack of his mother's stilettos infuriated him as she approached, signalling impending doom. "Mi Yun ah?" He called, ignoring his mother's snorts. Then, he stepped into the other side of the living room, and saw her.

She was a gory sight, fresh blood flowing out of the side of her open mouth like that of a waterfall. He noticed her loose grip on the photograph of the two of you at Namsan Tower. He saw the unmistakable slash of the knife on your leg, large enough to be seen from afar. He steeled himself to check your pulse. None. None at all.

"Well, you have wasted 136 seconds of my life, Park Chanyeol," His mother came in, and gasped softly before sneering at him.

"She deserved to die, son. After being so defiant, who would even talk to her? Not me, for one," She took the knife that was now stained with blood and prepared to chop off Mi Yun's foot as a sign of victory.

"No!" Chanyeol's voice was strangled as the words caught in his throat. The blade slashed through his abdomen instead. He emitted a slight groan before blood, pure red, began to gush out, staining his cerulean coloured polo. After a while, he slumped to the floor, eyes rolling to the back of his head.

"Tsk. How sweet. A typical Romeo and Juliet. And my son is involved, but why bother?" She stomped away, leaving two dead bodies. One, whose head was still in the noose and one, hand resting on his abdomen, eye whites bleeding beyond recognition.

I don't know if Part 1 or the Sequel is sadder but enough with the angst! The next one shot will have crack. Crack all the way! It'll be in the form of a fairytale.

It's 9.43pm where I am, so good night, and upvote this if possible ;-;
