Unthinkable [Kaisoo] for @kkam_jongin

I know you didn't request exactly this, but I requested it for you <33 Saranghae!

Kyungsoo had been in love with Kai for as long as he could remember. Perhaps it started when their hands touched on the playground, or when Kai said he preferred to marry someone who was 173 centimeters in height- Kyungsoo's height.

 Either way, Kyungsoo loved Kai.

Kai had been in love with Kyungsoo for as long as he could remember. Perhaps it began when he smiled his signature heart shape smile for the first time, or when he sung a song Kai had composed at a concert. 

Either way, Kai loved Kyungsoo.

Someone once said, there is no love without danger, no happiness without problems, no paradise without conflicts. Kyungsoo was simply too shy to confess and Kai was too proud to actually get down to earth and see that his friend had feelings for him.

One day, Kyungsoo decided, it was time. He would face the fear of rejection, hide in a hole if possible, and never see Kai again. He knew it would ruin their friendship for life, but anything was possible with Kai.

 "U-Um, Kai?" He approached his dongsaeng with shaking hands, a trembling heart, quakering feet. 

"Ne, hyung?" Kai's smile was dazzling, almost blinding him. 

"L-Look," He stuttered. Not good. Not good at all. "I-I've been in love with someone for a few years now. He's caring, amiable and the perfect boyfriend anyone would want to have. However, I feel that he doesn't look at me in that way, he will forever see me as just a friend, a dependable person."

He took a deep breath and continued, "That person is you, Kai. If you're going to reject me, just say so, quickly. It's unthinkable that you could even choose me out of so many others, I mean, just reject me and get it over and done with, right?"

A moment of silence, then Kai's lips on his. 

"Hyung, prepare to think the unthinkable."
