During a track and field session, you had fallen down, your leg grazing the rough concrete. It was fortunate that the school's resident doctor, Zhang Yi Xing, was a spectator in the stands during that crucial moment, for he rushed to your aid immediately.

It was rumoured that Yi Xing belonged to a family in which healthcare ran in the bloodline. His mother was a nurse, his father, a doctor.  There was even speculation that he had gotten his medical degree at the tender age of nine. However, you were one of the only few who doubted his skills, because who would allow a geeky kid with quirky interests to examine your injuries?

You were in utter distaste as he approached you, first aid kit swinging violently in his hand. Though you didn't like him, you didn't want to bleed to death either. You put out your leg for him to examine.

The severe abrasion wasn't that really that severe at all, it was in fact just a slightly deep cut that was relatively small taking into consideration your leg had just scraped against a rough and unrefined surface. Yi Xing nodded, observing the direction of the blood flow, before placing a moist piece of alcohol swab on the open wound.

"YAH! YAH! YAH!" For the love of bacon, it felt like your wound was on fire! It was an entirely new burning sensation, as the pain literally travelled down your leg, causing you to yelp in pain. You pushed Yi Xing away angrily as you shook your leg to alleviate the pain.

Yi Xing baulked at the idea of bandaging up your wound, for you were squirming around nervously so much to the extent that he grimaced when you kicked him in the face. He gingerly wrapped the soft bandage soaked in medicated herbs around your leg, and the soothing aroma and cooling sensation it gave you helped the pain to subside.

"Someone call the doctor," You groaned, as you clutched your leg while slowly rising from your sitting position.

Yi Xing smiled. "I am the doctor."

And unexpectedly, he gave you a gentle peck on the cheek.

"Get well soon, my unicorn."
